Boethius, Session 01 - Whats Wrong with the World

Starting from the common ground of Philosophy, Boethius addresses the question of human suffering in a universe governed by a just God. For him this is not an academic question, but a personal one since he is in prison awaiting execution. Lady Philosophy herself appears to him, explaining to him that only Reason can console him.
