Been looking to buy a new one, and I'm torn between Nothing Phone 1 and Galaxy A52S. Samsung offers good performance and cameras, bt One UI is full of unnecessary apps some of which we can't uninstall. Also, there's added reputation of Samsung offering updates for 3-4 yrs bt also subsequently slowing down devices intentionally with them. All the phones I've used got better with updates, I ran Lineage OS after CyanogenMod, I flashed POSP ROM on my Moto, and while updates on Nokia were damn late, they were very stable and improved performance. Now talking about Nothing Phone, it's UI is just ❤️, bt I'm concerned about the selfie camera performance in the long run and offline customer support as it's a new company. Also, I'm a big GCam user, bt currently Samsung phones aren't completely compatible with GCam mods. So please if you can give any inputs on this I'll be greatful. Summing up my 2 concerns- 1) Can I rely on Samsung not screwing up its software in 1-2 yrs, as I intend to use my phone for atleast 2 yrs? Does removing Samsung apps mess with the software? Moreover, is there a stable GCam mod for A52S ? 2) Will offline support for Nothing be any good, as some of the people who bought the handsets complain about screen issues and moisture in glass back? Moreover, will the 16 MP camera performance be sufficient after a year or two ?

MAIN CAMERA HAS *In closed-loop motor* , there is an extra position sensor that continuously monitors the position and gives feedback to the VCM ( Hence the name closed loop ). In this system if our hand were to shake while taking a picture , the camera will move but the position sensor will immediately inform the VCM to adjust , The phone does not need to do more calculations. This increases focus speeds by a large margin.
