Incredible how useful this video is. Im ordering parts now. Shock towers have been a major issue over the years. ty kindly. Very impressive. I am grateful. o7
Another great Mod Randy! Like I said before you always find a way to mod the MOD! 🤣 and make things better & beefier. I dont' have a basher body .....Yet but one of these days I may get one. I'm still rocking that BLX black body with the rhino lining. Anyways thanks for the great video! 👍🏽
Right, but the reason for the thumb screws is because of that needed flat end that I take advantage of after cutting it off you have a unique flared out section that works perfect for both stopping the spring from pulling the bolt out, but also preventing the bolt from spinning at the same time.
@@EastTactics gotcha that makes sense. I run these mounts on my Notorious and FireTeam. I had to use the Kraton mounts on the FireTeam. I'm definitely gonna do this cause I really hate clips.
Awesome brother. Yeah thunder rc has been doing that for a while ans few others i know. Im still rockikg the stock arrma body post still workikg pretty good. But yeah that way is super tough And put. S less wear on the body as well.
@EastTactics yeah u just mentioned it in one of his vidoes I remember while back. No actual vidoe on the body posts. He don't do those vids as you know. But yeah he used nuts and a washer on top of the body that's all I remember. But of course nothing like what you did ET with the spring set up. That's petty awesome 👌. I think you solved this issue for sure.
I checked M2C‘s website because I’m not super familiar with the MT 410. And it does look like the Arma body post set (the composite pieces) are compatible with the MT410. So the thumb screw bolts are definitely compatible. You probably want to go with the inch and a half variant and the 10 inch tall springs, unless you’re OK with the body sitting a little higher to incorporate more spring compression. The real question is are the M2C aluminum shock standoffs compatible? Specifically, the two holes screw into the shock tower as well as just the square size of the M2 aluminum body mounts. I don’t see why they wouldn’t be but I’m not 100% sure. That’s not to say that you couldn’t use the composite body mounts with this mod, I think it’s still completely doable. You would just have to cut the notch those. But I highly recommend this mod be paired with the aluminum M2C body mounts. Let me know if that answers your question.
That's a killer idea 💡👍🏼 I would add another washer before the final nut...😉💯 Awesome vid brother...🤩

Outside the box! Very nice!
Genius! Love when people use their minds and create new things :) looks cool to
Great video man! Can't wait to see how they hold up.
Looks like the way to go!!
Mad stuff sir =)
Super nice!
Nice one!!
Very fuck cool I need to do mine now
Maybe try all thread for the bolts. Out of one piece you could get 4 + body mount post's, would just need to cut to size.

Any of them make a vid on it, I’d love to see their variations. I scrubbed through thunder RC. Couldn’t find anything

He's just produced spring loaded Proline body screws....

Will these new body post work with teknp mt410 m2c shock towers?
