why when you usa the contact form in website (including the phone) and an opportunity is created from there, then you create te customer to reply the email only the email is automatically copied and the name and phone are totally LOST. If you activate the lead option it works good the copy of the name and phone to the new customer, but with direct opportunities creation it dosnt work.
We are not using odoo for marketing yet, but we are assessing it. I am still trying to understand how the lead generation works, how automated it is, etc.

You should be able to do that using webhooks.

I believe you can do this with a webhook which is generally easier than an API.
