Michael if you get A Players off waivers… HE HAS TO GO TO your 53 man roster. JT Woods was on Chargers Practice squad after we cut him. Then a day later we cut him from Chargers practice squad. Then the Eagles signed him to their PS. You got to understand the rules. You can’t take a player from waivers and tuck him on your practice squad. If not Harbaugh would have taken a bunch of chances on players during waivers. He has to go on your 53 man roster. That’s why you see very little movement off waivers.

I saw some beat writer saying that Joe Hortiz was "working the phones" so to me that means he was doing the work and finding the best option for backup QB to upgrade from Easton who had a very bad preseason. I'm excited that we're seeing this much effort from the front office as well as the coaching staff!
I fee like a lot of those bad players the Chargers kept were because they were Telesco's or Staley's guys. I couldn't figure out why they kept players like Kenneth Murray when it was clear they were terrible.
