Oh Zoey.....This video was so hard to watch till the end. It brought me to tears. It was so hard to see you in so much pain. Struggling through the medications, confusions and the noise. My god you are tough girl.!!!! My best wishes are with you as you move to phase 2 of this journey. Stay strong and good luck 😉
You know how hard it can be in hospital, it isn't easy!!! But it only makes us tougher.. and im ready for the next surgery already.. bring it on 💙 xxxx
Hi Zoey, thank you for posting your journey, its so lovely to watch someone else who’s experienced the same thing. I am now roughly 10 weeks post j pouch surgery (step 2) and watching you in the hospital brought back so many memories for me, all the emotional came flooding back. I know how it feels when you feel like you’ve taken a step back after you think that everything is going so well. Step 2 was THE hardest for me and even after my surgery i was back in hospital with other complications. But the key really is to be patient, and like you said we still have one more step and we wont know if our struggle has been worth it until the final step. You are so strong, keep doing what you doing and good luck for the rest of your journey, I wish you a speedy journey and hope you get your life back!! 💞
Step 2 really was the hardest, jpouchers say step 3 is the easiest so let's hope for that! I just hate staying in hospitals, I have really bad anxiety from past experiences! Did you have complications due to your loop? When are you due in for your stage 3, I'm going in at the end of April sometime :) x
Zoey Wright I had to have a refashioning of my stoma (which meant making the stoma slightly bigger) after suffering a blockage for two days. Didnt even know such a thing could happen. I then developed a perianal abscess about a week later which was drained. Its fully healed now but I’m upset at the fact I had an abscess as these are not good signs. I had my pouchogram last week so just waiting on those results and depending on that i should get a date. Feeling anxious! X
