Nice 2nd for Brent Marks. Brent Marks hasn't won yet for High Limit racing but has been consistent with top 5s and top 10s to currently sit 3rd in the High Limit Series points.
After watching in super slow motion (.25x speed), it was pretty easy to see Brad get loose. He then ran into James. Racing accident. But the root cause appeared to be Brad loosing control.
This is more on Brad. By international racing standards, the driver is still in control of the car, and that includes the throttle. Brad sent it too hard into James. Should've be sent to the back at a minimum, but that's owner privilege for you.
There was a bump right there going into 3 Sweet hit that and that caused him to move up the track if you watch closely you'll see some of the other cars hit it with the same results by the way I'm not a Sweet fan
I can almost promise you him hitting the wall there would've hurt more. Backing one of these things at any speed is very painful. Ball parking a car can a lot of times be safer. Lets you dissipate energy compared to hitting something that don't move. I've ball parked cars and hit walls. I will take ball parking a over hitting a wall 9 times out of 10.
@@landonmurray3814 It's a long flight, but you're not backing it into the wall, while in the air, still going at high rates of speed. He still had good speed and was in the air. Where the wall would've been. A friend of mine, backed it into the wall at doing about 35-40. Jumped someones RR with this LR, spun him around. Was on ground and basically into the wall like that. Put him out of racing for life and has some brain injuries in the back of the brain from it. Hitting the back like that is one of the worst ways you can hit something. The only thing that helps brace it is the bumper and the fuel cell and doesn't do much. Even someone playing bumper tag with your back bumper doesn't feel good. Seen many fights caused by that. I'm usually against fighting and almost started a fight because someone kept driving into the back of me under pacing. Yes you can mess your back or neck up from landings, I have personal experience from that. At least with landings you have suspension, seat moldings and other things to help with that. Back of cage impacts you don't really have anything. With the belts so tight, you become one with the car, practically bolted to the car via the A frame, hitting the back of the cage is sending that straight shock wave straight to you. It's not like the front where you have lots of tubing in front of you made to bend and take the energy away.
Sweet tried to shove it in a spot and stepped on it that time got to give McFadden credit he didn't whine like David gravel which was much cleaner of a pass by Buddy if you know what I mean you know

Bob and Sue over at the trailer park have no clue what a High Limit is. Bob and Sue know what the World of Outlaws are. There is a VERY easy way to get people to understand what High Limit is... but they ain't paying me to market them so I bet the light crowds continue. I know for a fact this is what happened at RPM and SOS.

This is a town of 1100 people in a good weekend. Pits look empty but the grandstands were full more people there than the population of the town I’ll count that as a win
Very surprised--did I see Sweet turn his steering wheel right entering the turn and ram McFadden out of the racetrack? If McFadden sees the film, he should have a little talk with Sweet about it.
A bad decision for sure, but not intentional. It's too easy to take yourself out trying to pull a stunt like that. Not to mention the damage to his standing with the other drivers.
I am not a Sweet fan at all but I have to ask... have you ever driven? I bet not because what he did is driving the car.. it was basically out of his control, he was just along for the ride and it moved up the track.
After watching turn 3 entry. McFadden turned down the track with Brad to protect. Screwed brads line up and made him tight. On a different track, that probably woulda worked. But McFadden ended up punted.
Because it really wasn't that bad. A bunch of non racers in these comments saying it was bad/on purpose. We don't penalize for outcomes of moves in racing. We penalize THE MOVE. Garbage sliders have shown time and time again they aren't valid reason to black flag someone, and honestly this wasn't that bad.
