    I found out from the movie people that this van is being used in the next episode of the TV horror show called 'The Strain'. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Strain_(TV_series)

    I have a 10-minute drive to this place. Today even drove by and I made some pictures of your truck. Good luck and have a good trip back.

    Gosh, I wondered if the rear was going to catch on the ground, and then the middle of the vehicle and finally the engine sump and front of the vehicle!!
    However I think you will have to make some rather gentler longer sloping ramps when it comes to loading it because of the pretty abrupt slope of the metal ramps.

      Dan Whiteford er... i don't know how many classes you cut in high school but usually the vehicle travels the same way when you LOAD it, as when you UNLOAD it ;) if it didn't catch the trailer or ground while rolling off, I should be good rolling on.

    I miss 720p. I think you are doing 480 for bandwidth constraints, if I remember correctly, but 480 looks blurry and old school. The difference is actually huge between the two for viewing.

    Movie plot: The bread factory received a call that the dead are rising across the street from the cemetery. They quickly enforced their bread van to be zombie proof to try to escape the horde. But it seemed they are running out of time....then a black Mack truck showed up! :)

    Nice video! I'm a resident of NYC and feel for truckers every time I see them maneuvering around corners with cars cutting them off and people walking around them. I used to operate 400 ton, 600' long vehicles with 4,600 hp that carry 2,000 people, otherwise known as NYC subway trains, I just retired. We don't steer or deal with traffic like you guys, I wouldn't want to drive a truck around NYC, it's bad enough driving around in a car. Oh, I hope you enjoyed our table smooth streets too! Have a safe stay in NYC, and a safe trip out of here when you leave. Thanks for posting this video Uncle Sergei, take care.

      littleguytruckershow i think driving a city bus is much more stressful.

    • @TomHeid1
      @TomHeid1 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      littleguytruckershow I wasn't burnt out, but had health problems and a teenager when I came in off the road. Drove a city bus for 5 years until I retired. Can't say how you will do, but it was a different world for me.

      littleguytruckershow I would make a turn like you made on Myrtle with a 102" wide 40 footer with a car in that lane..you had to have skills to drive one. Paid good, insurance, plenty of overtime if you wanted it.

    You sure get in to some shitty places to deliver too good thing you have a set back axle truck that steers good. Now I know how the gooseneck on your truck sits on the truck when the neck is detached there is a lifting bar pushes against the truck's frame.

    • @HHTV60
      @HHTV60  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Graveltrucking on older trailers you have to carry blocking and then put on the frame when you disconnect. here i have a special lever on the gooseneck that controls this support bar.

    • @Graveltrucking
      @Graveltrucking 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know that about blocking with older low beds I never noticed the support bar in your other videos with the yellow trailer. The days are gone fighting old mechanical detach low beds.

    New York State often marked overpasses up to a foot lower then they actually are because of snow pack in the winter. This practice varies throughout the state and cannot be depended on.

      @southjerseysound7340 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've found most bridges around NYC and north Jersey to be lower then they actually are posted more often than higher and we'll often run a pole car through long before the load just for this reason.A few coats of asphalt can make a BIG difference ;)
