I have this keyboard and while I have considered going to try the MK because of the weight, I cannot get over the fact that my IPAD is covered all the way around with this keyboard. Also, when I close my ESR Keyboard it does put my device to sleep. This is a great video!
I don’t really care about Bluetooth or the weight I actually like it has its own battery so it’s well sturdy and doesn’t bend in transportation, and is till have the thin iPad once I detach it to handwrit. My question is, how is the trackpad? Does it work well, fluid, no stutters, no delay?
Thank you for your video regarding the keyboard for the iPad. I appreciate your prompt response and assistance. I wanted to share my thoughts on the keyboard. While it is quite nice in many respects, I have encountered a few issues that I believe are worth mentioning: 1. **Weight**: When the iPad is attached to the keyboard, the combined weight is significantly heavy, making it less portable and convenient than I had hoped. 2. **Magnet Functionality**: The magnet does not seem to work effectively without a cover, which limits its usability and functionality. 3. **Viewing Angle**: The viewing angle could benefit from more flexibility. It would be helpful if it allowed for greater adjustment to achieve a more comfortable viewing experience. 4.**Pencil Magnet**: The magnet for the pencil is quite weak. When the pencil is attached to the iPad and the keyboard is opened, the pencil often falls off, which is very inconvenient. Also I feel the touchpad slow how I fixated
I looked at this keyboard online and thought it represented a good alternative to the magic keyboard. I ultimately ended up sticking with the Logitech Combo Keyboard I already have for the 2021 M1 13”. I may still pull the trigger on the ESR, but I’m waiting until my current case is just completely worn out.
I use the MK every day (12.9 Pro 2021), the front corners of the keyboard are worn through, not sure why but as I don't plan to upgrade my 2021 for awhile, I have looked at the ESR keyboard. I use the Ipad in my lap--all the time--and understand that this keyboard will not change angle muchwhich puts me off some. Don't mind putting on the frame but like being able to take off the Ipad which this would allow-also don't mind the weight since I use in my lap (don't carry daily). Might have to look at this for current Ipad.
HI! Greetings from Austria! I would like to know if you can use the iPad cover from the Magnetic case with the Magnetic keyboard. Can I use both products with the same case? I hope you understand my question.
If I understand what you are asking is you want to use the plastic cover for the Ipad from the ESR keyboard with the Magic Keyboard and no, you cannot do that. The plastic cover will cover up the connector pins that make the MK function with the Ipad. The ESR is bluetooth so it does not use those pins. I hope that helps if that is what you meant.
@@robbquinnimaging4321 no, I would like to know if I can combine the ESR case from the ESR Shift Magnetic case bundle with the ESR Rebound Magnetic Keyboard. For example, to work at my desk with the ESR keyboard, and when I go out I can use the Shift Magnetic Case without having to remove the iPad from the case? Are these the same cases? Hope my translation is good enought 😂thx

Great video, I liked your logic and thoughtful points more than the case.

Might add that I have had the Logitech case for the 12.9 lightning connected--great case but doesn't work in lap at all.
