Watching you place the saltworks reminds me of one of the gripes I'll often get with these kinds of city builders; a lot of such games use a hard grid system for placement, yet so often it seems like rivers and other bodies of water cross the grid at an angle, making it unnecessarily awkward to place structures that need some level of even distribution of land and water.
Pravus, senior housing is an absolute godsend, it seriously bumps happiness and frees up smaller houses for fertile couples. If you don't have it, get the "wearability" tech, it increases the durability of ALL clothing by 50%
This game has a lot of potential, I hope they add soldiers, raiding and wars so there are different ways you can play it and it would unlock potential for online duels like Age of Empires
I dont think your math on the mint quite checks out. Two silver Ore makes TWO cutlery for a total worth of 180, so 90 per ore, compared to the 50 from the mint.
How do you manage food production? I'm in year 50 and have really been trying to get my civilians eating food from the BBQ house and Bakery etc. instead of just raw vegetables, and it's going ok-ish, but I may have let my population grow too fast and couldn't quite keep up with feeding everyone.
i am almost suprised you didn't unlock the plantations much sooner. they do herbs, and you kind of needed a load of those for the soap/bath house and herbalist/clinics. i know they paid for 5 videos, but i am also surprised you didn't record those extra play hours to upload for viewer likes, rates, and content. you played it. may as well put the hours to use in your favor. if you did record it, you could wait a week and add them. if it is named properly, they will still be in correct viewing order for your subscribers.
Yep very cool where this game is now. I bought it based on your's as well as some other series on the game a few months back. I've yet to have the time to set down and play but that will change soon and I'm looking forward to it. I really love your ONI series as well and can't wait for more episodes on that as you do things there I've not even dreamed of doing. The recent things you've shown using the geothermal resources at the bottom of the map have been extremely interesting to follow...

You have to order from the dock, mulberry leaf seed is super expensive though - around 60,000 I think. A more affordable way is to work up your reputation with Carlos to level 4, and then you can buy all seeds from him. He sells mulberry leaf seed for around 12,000 if I remember right.

He did have plantations, he had them at the end of the video, he started growing cotton in them. Herbs grow in nurseries.
