I liked how the flow and tempo were on a steady vibe, and then, at that time, the layer of sound is added that just changes all of that...the entire vibe changes from a computerized vibe/steady....to a flow, a little deeper...and the next transition, i think 2:38, with the strings coming in...i'll bet that evolves nicely too!

No, it's defined by the beautifully induced emotions that the music inspires in us. Happiness, sadness, euphoria, love, passion. Just listen to the music - and I mean LISTEN to it, don't just HEAR it!
If you truly love an artist, you will support him/her with whatever they wish to experiment with. Armin is trying out a new style, and I proudly support him. Stop hating!

I read somewhere like a half year ago or so that he was planning to do like "trance 2.1" stuff or like that, basically - new definition of the style. I think he succeeded. And "afraid of 138" and "intense" are like exactly the new style. So I think it's all about embracing or not. I do. You too. See you in Amsterdam!

It took Armin and Miri 2 years to complete this track. Now thanks to that effort, i wake up early in the morning, every day, because i get to hear this as soon as i get up.

Totally agree :) It was so obvious, but still most of us are suprised, that Armin changes his style a bit. Let me tell you something...he do this EVERY TIME, when he makes brand new album. For old trancers he have Gaia and other single releases (not from albums).
