Recently retired music/AV production teacher, trying to get into fishing in a serious way, and have been hunting down good TH-cam folks for inspiration. You, my friend, are going to get me in trouble as my wife just sees me buying more and more stuff, and after watching your 30 min and 40+ min beginners videos, I’m already researching the various companies you’ve recommended. If this is arts and crafts for anglers, it’s on steroids. Hearing you mention keeping this project warm on the plate (“Wait... what?!?”😳) made me realize I gotta go back through your catalogue of shows for more knowledge. Awesome work man! 🤘🏼 And not too shabby on the double stroke roll either! 😉
Looks very nice. I definitely agree with adding the blue to the lines. Great color work on the oink as well. Gotta keep that in the mental bank for future ideas. Awesome work bro.
i like that striper. Ive learned a GREAT way to mimic the 'black' is by mixing black a deep black with turquoise- ive been using it on my painted lures and it gives a really nice realistic appearance, looks beautiful too with the turquoise highlights in it. works great for shad spots too
Awesome as always, please do a video where you just talk about your favorite colorants and flakes. Sounds boring for the experienced pourers, but if your doing it, it won't be.
Love these! That peachy pink was a really nice color. Would live to see you do some different chichilid colors or maybe a fire sunfish or humphead wrass colors!
Still watching the vid brother. Just wanted to respond to how to catch em. I have caught a ton on the silver rat l trap with the black back, 1/2 ounce. Also they feed on the algae, so using the green, slimy algae in balls works as well.
At 6:13, it looked green to me but it was a mix of brown and black? All results are great. I think I would go with a light blue tint to the areas between the green stripes. Looks great tho. 👍
I love watching your videos! You're not afraid to try new things and they usually turn out amazing! I'd love to get some baits from you for fishing in Australian waters. Much Love and Big Fish from Melbourne, Australia ✌❤🇦🇺🐠🐟
Over here in AZ I sight catch em on dough bait with small hooks so it float's like pellets kind of. If they're bedding I just drag any little swim bait over the beds til they get mad and hit it.
Hey man, I have an idea for you. Criss cross laminating. Duel inject, cut the baits in half, duel inject the opposite way. You could even use this method to make weird 4 color laminated baits. Thanks for the great vids! Keep it up!
Hi Just an question, does exist any other way to make that stripes easier than pour? Isn't more easy using a stringe or something similar? I don't know just to make it more precise and easy.. by the way the looks really good to be your first try.. thanks
I thought may be a skin pour before the stripes so you could make them more in the background and not so forward if you know what I mean other than that great job
I've only fished them once on beds and we tried everything you read about catching them on. We had best luck on Berkley gulp crickets in their beds. The crickets look a little like a small crawdad and maybe they where defending their bed. Crawfish will eat fish eggs. We caught over 80 for our 1st time fishing for them. It's about a 2 hour drive to find them from my home. I love fried fish but tilapia are nasty to me when fried. Tasted like fried carp I tried once. I gave mine away.
Fish them like if you were carp fishing. I've always done best using my kool-aid dough balls on a small hook. Growing up my Father had a huge Fish farm , the biggest seller was the Tilapia, they were fed on fish pellets that looked like dog food... I've never tried it, but if you have a good say to rig a piece of dog food, it mat work😂
Here in south Africa we have pretty much only tilapia as bait fish (at least where I'm from) and we catch them just like you would catch blue gill, simple worm and bobber Once they get big though they will eat a bass lure
Sweet corn is a deadly tilapia bait, they are mostly herbivores and their main diet is actually algae and small organisms within the algae. they also love peas.
@@WorldsWorstFishing you should see the mozambique tilapia in the salton sea, they get huge but are inedible because of the pollution, its crazy, you toss a hook in with ANY kind of edible thing and they're all over it in seconds.
KEEP THE BANGERS COMING HANDS DOWN MY FAVORITE BAIT MAKER
Hell yeah!!
No the best bait maker

This was a tough one..much more room for improvement however! Thanks for watching.
Just Can't get enough of them hand pour videos and there ain't no one that does it better sir!
I appreciate it sir
Watching you pour those stripes was so satisfying! You really have that technique down pat.
Thanks dude
So perfectly blended cannot wait to try making those. Great job 😎
Thanks Andy
When you upload it's the best day ever
I appreciate that more than you know
Always in awe of your skill!!!! Keen eye for colors and a steady hand!!
Thanks for another great video!!!!
👍👍

That's one of the best pours I've ever seen keep them coming

Those turned out awesome!
Awesome man you nailed it

New to your channel, you have a talent and patience. Do you sell your baits? I prefer baits that are not exactly the same in color like store bought
Love these! That peachy pink was a really nice color.

They turned out to be amazing, and I've got say that my favorite was that baby Stripe Bass,,it was unbelievable !!
Thanks man
Man those are amazing . Awesome pour👊👊👊... man I had no idea tilapia got that big😳
They are big for sure
What mold is it really want to get one?
Angling ai 6" open pour
@@WorldsWorstFishing thank you
Muy buen video saludos y los moldes dónde los compras
Mushroom is the colour I would say that white with a bit of brown is, wouldn't you? Before the blue flame ofcourse hahaa! Looking awesome too!
👍👍👍👍
Maybe a little silver or hologram in the white part. Looks good though. Keep up the great bait making!!
Those look really good
Awesome 👌🏾👌🏾👍🏾👍🏾🤙🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥
You the man Chris!
Thanks Andrew
They look good. I think I go try to make a few
Give it a shot
Where do you get your swimbait eyes from and how do you attach them to the bait? Thanks.
Awesome man looks like the real thing man
🙌🙌
Very nice job u are the best
Great match 👌🏻A Tilapia pattern is a staple on Lake Falcon(TX)-Works great pretty much anywhere here to be honest.
Texas Tilapia!!

I agree the green should be more blue but they came out awesome
Appreciate it
Looks good
Looks great! Have you tried “painting” the plastisol onto the molds via brush?
Unfortunately you cannot do such a thing
Question. You reheated the molds to 350F, how long do they need at that temperature to fuse the layers together?
My six year old son loves watching these with me!! He said this bait is AWESOME and now wants me to make him one 🤦♂️
At 6:13, it looked green to me but it was a mix of brown and black? All results are great. I think I would go with a light blue tint to the areas between the green stripes. Looks great tho. 👍
I agree

Awesome job
Appreciate
Man,!! Almost everytime I watch one of your video's I'm at home trying to imitate...
Glad I can inspire!
That was an awesome video
Thanks 😊
“Clink... garbage man’s here” ..... have another beer for me bro!!!
Do you pull it right off the griddle after 20 minutes at 350°?
Yes..what the sides start to look like liquid
That striper swimbait is killer, I just ordered a 4" mold today
You'll love it
Where did you order the mold?
You’re pretty cool man.
looks better for colour out of the cast
Over here in AZ I sight catch em on dough bait with small hooks so it float's like pellets kind of. If they're bedding I just drag any little swim bait over the beds til they get mad and hit it.
I'll try it!
I've done the swimbait trick also, man it pisses them off

Haha that sounds pretty neat
What is the quantity and price that you sell your swimbaits for
Those are amazing man! How do I get a mold made like those?
They are from angling Ai molds
How hard is it to make soft plastic baits
I need a way to buy some baits without an Instagram account
Hi
Just an question, does exist any other way to make that stripes easier than pour? Isn't more easy using a stringe or something similar? I don't know just to make it more precise and easy.. by the way the looks really good to be your first try.. thanks
Nope pour is the best method..also makes it most natural
Awesome pour! Everything you touch turns out. Have you triple injected any frogs yet?
Yes absolutely! I did a whole video called "Tree Frog"
I had tilapia that tasted like bacon it was so dang good🤤🤤
I love tilapia ha
Fantastic baits! Now go catch some bass on em!
Can corn on a small trout hook ,you get all you want good luck
Interesting!
Do a perch next
Do you ever have to use a small blade or knife to trim the excess plastic
I thought may be a skin pour before the stripes so you could make them more in the background and not so forward if you know what I mean other than that great job
Might work!
Angling AI doesn't make "custom" injection molds anymore...can anyone recommend a good injection mold supplier?
now that was a tricky hand pour
Unfortunately I did it MUCH better the day after this lol 😂
No!!! I missed the notification
Uh oh
To catch it you have to use bread with a bobber they eat off the top mostly
The only suggestion I can make is showing the finished baits in the sunlight. Totally changes the baits.
Absolutely..but the camera doesn't always show it well in sunlight for me
Lets gooooo!!!!
Yessir
@@WorldsWorstFishing they look amazing!!

Sounds like an awesome trip...I've always had them blackened and we're excellent
we catch them with garden worms under a quill float.
Tilapia best bait is live worms. Use them every week here in the Philippines.

You got to make a mass mix with fruits like you can make your mass with oatmeal.gello.bananna.flouer and vanila sent
Stick of Dynamite.
I was a complicated Poor The turn up good
I’ve caught tilapia on bread mostly
20:51 ive hated no ad as much
Good thing I don't control the content of your ads then.. all we can control is the amount of ad rolls during a video
I meant because it was right before the reveal of the swimbait
@@foonigan3571 ahh haha my bad
Thats alr. Great bait making man look forward to your videos
can probably catch them on a tiny hook and a bread ball
Here in south Africa we have pretty much only tilapia as bait fish (at least where I'm from) and we catch them just like you would catch blue gill, simple worm and bobber

Hey hey
Hey
How u ben
Been kinda sick tbh lol
World's Worst Fishing yeeeep it’s that time of year
Needs color shift fifth gear ⚙️
Haha yeah
I'm not a bait maker, but how do you think an infant medicine syringe would work on smaller detail or adding smaller amounts of plastic.
It doesn't work at all..plastic sets up
Dam
Sweet corn is a deadly tilapia bait, they are mostly herbivores and their main diet is actually algae and small organisms within the algae. they also love peas.
Yeah I thought they were herbivores..they bed THICK on lake seminole
@@WorldsWorstFishing you should see the mozambique tilapia in the salton sea, they get huge but are inedible because of the pollution, its crazy, you toss a hook in with ANY kind of edible thing and they're all over it in seconds.
use peas or moss they are not meat eaters
Use banana as bait.
