I have played this game eight times and I’ll probably play through it again many more.
it is absolutely the best zombie RPG open world game I’ve ever played. Hopefully will get a sequel in the near future. this would make a great Movie.
This is by far my favorite zombie games of all time. I have played it 3 times, each time on the next level up. I am completely bummed that Days Gone 2 was scrapped for now. Cmon Sony, help fund this so we can get the 2nd one asap.

Its one of the most high class games, all respect to its developer, Im played now about 140 hours as I played on ps4 pro and pc "RTX 3090" Story10/10. Graphic 10/10. Gameplay 10/10.
I wouldn't go that far with gameplay. I found the gameplay pretty lackluster for an open world game and how detailed the graphics are... I go to immerse myself in the environment and settlements but all I could do was just look at things most of the time.

Wish we atleast had more story DLCs of this gem.
I just cant get enough of this game. Completed it 4 times, over 300 hours of gameplay.

Sadly this game is heavily underrated. Needs a sequel more than any other game rn imo.
And in that sequel there better be multiplayer because riding around the wastelands on bikes with friends would’ve been amazing and was the main thing the first one lacked

Bought a PlayStation during quarantine and Days Gone, the 1st game I played, is totally responsible for the return of my passion for games (which I didn't have since I was a child). Now I have a PS5 and have already finished it twice.

I've played Days Gone every year since it first came out. All time favorite of mine. Needs a sequel! Heck I want a trilogy for it.
Same as you, i find DG excellent game, so i try to find some more info
and i find that "for now" next part of DG - totally impossible - game studio was consumed by Sony, and even in discussion developers says, that when they think about next part - they discuss network things and multiplayer (looks like PUBG with small difference).
From other side - Deacon story line was over, he find what he looking for. But we still can think about Sara story, and most interesting for me - that "vampire lord" story, when Deacon contact(Bryan) in last part of game - says that all this happen because of NERO directors want to get kind of immortality - become like hoarders but keep his mind clear - and here can be story for DG2 - and may be more )
Top three game on the PS4, Days Gone 2 needs to get made.

Seriously so many people shitted on this game when in reality it truly was one of the best games I played in a long time! Most games these days go for a cashed out repetitive narrative with lack luster content.. this game offers so much story and depth to the characters with a rewarding ending. You won’t be bored for a long time and even after completing the story you’ll find yourself trying to upgrade your guy all the way. This game was so underrated and deserves a f’n sequel. They give trash can games and movies sequels why not this game? There’s even a petition with over 50k signs online. People would love for deakon saint johns story to continue he’s the goat. I hate that I didn’t check this game out sooner I basically got it for free when ps plus released it for game of the month. I was blown away since I expected a bad game from all the reviews. In todays time people love this game or go back to say they were wrong about shitting on it 👍🏼if you haven’t already check this game out I promise it’s worth it.

Best zombie game by far. It's a shame Sony didnt make DLCs and didnt make the 2nd part of this game. They sold about 8 millions copies, so it would be very profitable to continue this brilliant game.

While tlou had much better writing and acting, with crisp gameplay. Days Gone kills it with replay factor. Once i beat tlou, i was done with it. But Days Gone never gets old, and especially now, with how well it runs on ps5. And no zombie game touches its horde mechanics. Perfect by no means, but it is a great game. A well funded sequel could've been epic.

This game has an emotional weight as much as Last of us part 1 , I can’t address how much bad talk I heard about it .. but once I played it and finished every quest line I was shocked to the amount of content and length of the game , It’s really fun and the storyline will make you cry multiple times .
P.S after you finish the game visit the icons on the map of every character * to see every character’s ending, one of them is a teaser for part 2 .
I wish they had The Last of Us Part 2 for pc

Okay, I'm downloading this game from PlayStation Plus. I've avoided games that don't have PS5 upgrades, but since the comments are overwhelming positive I think I am giving this game a try even if it PS4 only on PlayStation. If I don't like it it haven't lost anything as I can delete game and move on. If it's a good game then I've got lots of hours of entertainment ahead of me

Wasn’t to complicated to build items also could store a lot tho I didn’t like that, same as every game tho, the falling thing got old even sliding down a 20 foot hill got me killed 😂 but whatever still love the game just re started it the other day actually because there’s not another zombie game with a cross bow as the primary first weapon you “unlock” which was awesome the knife wasn’t very hurtful tho it was 7 strikes killed a zombie I didn’t like that but all around a solid game great story and had the open world kinda thing goin 9/10
