The next episode is called Awake and the description says “Sean and Jillian open up about a secret”. The photo for the episode is Dorothy holding Jericho, they most certainly tell Dorthy the truth next episode.
To me it is obvious that Leanne and the church members are all previously dead people brought back to life (this includes Leanne's little cult members). The reason for the ritual with the knife is so that they stay dead after you kill them and that's why Leanne did it to Uncle George. I also believe that Leeann's cult members are what's making her more powerful. Their worship of Leanne is what's fueling her power. Did you notice how she started becoming more powerful right after she met them? Just my theories:)
I absolutely loved the kill scene. It was truly poetic.... I feel bad for Dorothy because now she is stuck with Leanne, but like Dorothy said they are both tenacious. Don't sleep on Dorothy.
I hate to say it but like someone mentioned at some point. Maybe this is all In Dorothy’s head? It’s the only way that would make sense at this point. And Leanne represents Dorothy’s wish for Jericho to be alive. That’s why it’s so hard to kill her. Uncle George would represent some doctor trying to wake her up in whatever psychiatric facility she’s at.
Love this episode! My theory is Dorothy will be able to psychologize Leanne using Leanne’s weakness which is her love for Dorothy. In the end , Leanne will voluntarily leave the house . Sean and Julian will be back and will tell Dorothy about Jericho’s death
Hey Elliot! Great review! I was at the edge of my seat watching this episode yelling out “that’s what I’m talking about!” This was my favorite episode by far and I just want to continue to be surprised for the remaining episodes❤ #wicked
Yeah bro, this was one of the best episodes of TV I’ve seen in awhile. When I first started watching this series I almost tapped out in season two because I felt it wasn’t going anywhere but now it’s on fire. Can’t wait for the last two episodes.
Agree. I was impressed that the show was able to bounce back after season 2 which imo was pretty dull…. I hope they end this with something crazy happening
@@asant90 It’s far from the best TV this year or last year (House or the Dragon and Adnor a good example) but ep 8 was the best tv I’ve seen right at this moment is what I meant. I thought it was wonderfully directed and beautifully shot, with great tension and dread. It’s what the show should’ve been throughout, that kind of tension and fear. It got close a few times but was always quite conservative.
I don't think Julian has feelings for Leanne, I think he's just afraid. When she asked him "what are you afraid of", he paused a bit before his answer, and I'm guessing the real answer was "you".
After this episode I went full team Leanne, after all that effort to capture her then bringing her to George just to untie her hands and worst of all, George hands the knife over to Leanne!? What did u expect.. of course you’d get killed!🤦🏻♂️
I have a feeling that LeAnn is going to make Dorothy remember what happened to Jericho I also think that Dorothy is going to be the one that kills LeAnn
Wow great review, bravo! 👏👏👏 you really picked up on so many things I didn’t think! Also didn’t know anything about this particular director until now. I think Julian truly cares for Leanne, he seemed quite hesitant to go along with Sean ‘s plan. I thought the episode was a great set-up for them to (hopefully) tie up loose ends. I agree, I think next week we’ll get a lot of information, can’t wait!
I really enjoyed this episode. -Is Leanne invincible? -Is he Satan? or another powerful entity? Will we ever find out? - If Leanne is this big powerful character. why would she settle down for Dorothy? Why would she just choose to be someone's nanny?
She watched dorothy all her life while she was on the news in the background she didnt have a good mom and dorothy is a mother leanne wishes she had.. She was even watching dorothy the following moments jericho passed away in the car.
I was thinking the satan thing too! And if that’s true cuz they are kinda hinting in this episode that she is a fallen angel, and that would make her Lucifer and what if just what if Dorothy for some reason is Lilith?!? 😮
My favourite scene of the episode is when Julian and Sean leave Leanne with uncle George (for death), and, as they walk out of the tunnel, Dorothy immediately loses ability to walk and falls right on the floor, as though she was no longer “protected” 😱
As soon as Uncle George handed Leann that damn knife, I was like, "Oh, well you just wanted to commit s-word basically? She ain't taking herself out. Fa sho!" LOL
I felt indifference towards Leanne death.I as like Ivan Drago "If she dies she dies" but I never felt for her life this episode because I never thought she was just some regular human. She has supernatural power and for her to go down it's going to take a lot more than that. That part actually annoyed me a little bit. Usually when you fail at something you go back, and look at your mistakes and fix them. George and the Turner's are the very definition of Insanity because they keep trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
I agree. I knew that they weren't going to succeed in killing Leann. I actually laughed and shook my head when Uncle George handed her the knife and expected her to kill herself. Like...sir!
Fully hate watching this show at this point. So frustrating how they’re dragging this out. They literally had her unconscious, bound, hot knife in hand and STILL failed. Just end it!
It's the lack of information for me. I wouldn't have cared that they failed if they had openly talked about what Leanne actually is, what the church is about, anything, something! We are at the end. Move the story!
They should have told Dorothy about Jericho episodes ago if not a whole season ago! Show how she grapples with that vs these weak/failed attempts to oust Leanne every episode.
Oh me too! The series has go downhill this season! I am only watching it now because I have invested so much time into it at this point and just finish it but wow what a disappointment 😮
Just remembered something, do you think it’s possible we’ll see Officer Reyes within the next two episodes. I believe last time we saw her was in season two and we saw her put one of the straw crosses in her pocket. I wonder if that will play in somehow by the end of the show. Great review!!
The problem Dorothy has is she doesn't know that Leanne brought Jericho back to life. She may decide she wants her life back, even without Jericho. She'll have to summon the strength to murk the hell out of Leanne. Or she'll have to decide to join the legion of undead to keep her baby and put up with Leanne's needy ass for eternity. Either way, this episode was pleasingly horrific. I thought Sean and Julian were dead. I don't know what the hell George was thinking. You don't ask the demon to repent. You stab it and pray while it's on fire. Glad we're getting to the final showdown between the ladies. Dorothy's weakened but she doesn't like being backed in a corner either. If it turns out they're sisters or some such foolery, I will never forgive Shayamalan
The more I think about a possible relationship between Leanne & Dorothy the more I believe they are not blood related BUT that Leanne is the newer 2.0 version of Dorothy. Dorothy always got her way because of her power, ( influence over others), George, Sean, Julian, her dad Frank, wasn't etc. Everyone always wanted her happy because when she wasnt bad things happened. Same with Leanne. Her POWERE lays in the BELIEF others think she has. Leanne is Dorothy 2.0. An updated upgrade of Dorothy.
I felt bad for Leanne . They handed her over to be killed just like that after everything she’s done for them. This flip is happening way too quick in my opinion.
Great review Elliott! The episode was interesting. I'm totally in for a watch-a-long when the finale premieres. It would be a fun send off for a meh show. Sorry 😞
This was a good episode. I don't think Leanne is supernatural. I think it's about what is BELIEVED Leanne is. The power of belief implies . Good review Elliott.
@@Ets638 shes definitely super natural. The earth quakes, the power outages, the parasites, and recently when leanne gets mad at julian and sean a series of misfortunate events happen
Wow this episode was brilliant! It kept me on edge the whole time. Leanne looked terrifying when she came in to the house. I feared for both Sean and Julian. I was confused about the sink hole though, I thought they repaired the sink hole in the basement, I don’t recall it opening back up again? I love how the are playing on 2 theories here, the fallen angel theory and the DID theory as Julian was reading up conversion disorder which is linked to DID. So the ending could go either way
@@panchie364 Possibly but Sean and Julian were sitting on the floor in front of the wine rack in last episode. Maybe its to do with storm or the apocalyptic atmosphere going on outside that caused it.. i just thought it was strange.
Hi all! I’m less theory crafting now and more just hoping to get answers and excited to see what’s next. I think somehow Dorothy is going to be told the truth about Jericho next week. I am hoping we get backstory on the Pearce family and if there’s a connection with the cult. I predict that we will get Aunt May episode 10. If there is a connection with the Pearce fam and the cult, I hope for a Kourtney/Frank reveal and possibly one more thing out of Roscoe. Otherwise what was even the point of the cult?? I was really scared Sean and Julian were gonners, the burning knife in Uncle Gs mouth was epic
I've seen the last episode and it's all a dream because you see Dot wake up to a screaming jerico and go in and take him from his cot, then Sean calls her and she's speaking to him while changing the baby's nappy, then it pans to the window and you see Leanne looking from across the street as you find out she's dots guardian Angel and gave Dot a vivid dream about her life become a hell if she does not be a good mother to her child
I feel bad for her leanne, she just wanted a family, she was so happy when she was being treated as a family member in the beginning of season 3, now suddenly she is evil wtf lmao?? It’s like danerys targereyan arc of game of thrones 😂😂
I agree with someone else who commented about hate watching at this point. I'm pretty sure it's the fallen angel theory as well. I think Julian is under a spell imo . I knew the moment George untied her that she was going to off him . I also have a feeling that we are giving the show much more credit than it deserves with our theories like with Game of thrones. Only want to see two things happen by the finale 1. Dorothy to face what happened to Jericho.2. Figure out the relation between Dorothy and Leanne. Everything else will be biblical I'm sure but because this show was dragged out I no longer care.
@@devilsadvocate5369not true I've been watching for years, this is ridiculous. We want answers But it's nice to hear others theories. Actually better than the show itself
Best episode of the series since “Jericho” in S1. The scene in the tunnel gave vibes of Carrie, how LeAnn almost relented to the belief that she needed to repent but instead of Uncle George stabbing her like Carrie’s mother stabbed Carrie, he wanted her to turn the knife on herself. Calling her evil, however served like the same knife in the back and she, like Carrie had to stab and then burn him. You mentioned the irony of Julian (an alcoholic/addict) being trapped in the cellar under the wine rack but there was irony too in Sean, a chef, being stabbed in the heart with his own paring knife. I *still believe that Dorothy and LeAnn are connected through their mothers. I keep going back to that painting in the neighbor-LS house of the two women or girls who looked like LeAnn and Dorothy. I think Dorothy’s mom was able to escape the LS (to an extent) and in meeting Dorothy, LeAnn not only felt seen (she selects LA for interview) but also sees in Dorothy a representation of liberation, without knowing that her mother escaped. Given Shayamalan’s history, I think there will be some sort of redemption arc. I hope they give us a bottleneck episode with Dorothy and LeAnn.
Leanne has been stalking Dorothy for years. I think she had something to do with Dorothy forgetting Jericho in the car. Or she switched babies and Jericho never died. I think the reveal to Dorothy will be nothing what we think it will be.
These season has finally got things moving storywise but this tv series has been one big cliff hanger after an other and the obvious strange things that should've been talked about in season 2 is only being said now ,I honestly think M.Night Shyamalan has been dragging this series each episode at at time ,it can be frustrating 😤
I’m really tired of people trying to take out Leanne repeatedly and nothing ever happens. Never saw so many incompetent people including uncle George. I must keep reminding myself it’s just a tv show. Seriously though, it’s just a repeat to fill time imo. I suppose it’s pushing the story forward but at such a slow pace. The boys will tell Dottie the “real” truth the one that Julian doesn’t even know. Sean will man up and become a hero finally putting his foot down to save his family. At this point just want a satisfactory ending, please 😮
Best ep. I have seen from the the series since s1. Just hate how they have made Leanne to be the exclusive antagonist after building her character up over four seasons. Let’s remember, it was Dorothy, Julian and Sean that k!lled Jericho.
Dorothy did not leave the baby in the car! It has always been about Dorothy. She will become She Ra as she says early on. She will prevail. Leanne has no powers she has convinced people she does. They may leave it that each of us can determine if she does or doesn’t. It’s easy to do that rather than be specific. When Dorothy finds out WHO left the baby in the car-they will not be allowed back in the house. Dottie looking down upon Leanne shows that she will be the powerful one. She’s not taking any more crap from Leanne. It’s war.
The next episode is called awake Sean and Julian open up about a secret. So I do feel that we will still see the both of them again. Dorothy will not stand for not having Sean or Julian back in the house. But I do agree with some of the other comments about trying to get LeAnne out of the house is getting overdone. I have watched this show from the beginning and Ill be pretty upset if in only two episodes left we all dont get answers. lol your reviews are great .
I loved the episode I really only have 2 Complaints and 1 of the complaints really doesn't even have to with the show. And it the fact that All the other shows I'm currently watching are at least 45 minutes to a hour. And I am so trained to watch shows with that internal clock ticking. Then I watch this show and it felt like it was over way too soon because my internal clock was expecting at least 15 more minutes of show. When I was binging it didn't really matter because I would watch at least 2 at a time. My other complaint was the Lighting. I really couldn't see that good for some reason. It reminded me of HOTD episode when Daemon and Rhaenyra made love so I kinda understand why they had that so dark. Really besides that I loved it.
Loved it, loved it , loved it. Leann showing who’s boss. If any of the turner’s were honest with Dorothy, if any of them felt bad about what happened to Jericho- mainly Dorothy, I wouldn’t be so strongly Team Leanne.
I was on Leanne’s and D’s side but think Leanne’s going too far now. I mainly blame Sean and Julian, why not just be honest with D and let her grieve properly and process a very traumatic event
#Wicked 🙂 The actors in this episode were all SO good. I also thought for sure that it was the end of the road for Sean and Julian. I'm not a huge fan of Dorothy (she's a jerk) but whatever Leanne has planned is going to be BAD. At this point, I have zero clue what the end of this show looks like. Maybe Roscoe will come back and save the day?
The thing that makes it hard to be sympathetic towards Leanne is that the Turners constantly beg her for insights and answers, and Leanne always has some coy, naive response. The Turners just want to know who or what they are dealing with and Leanne won’t give real answers. How do you trust someone who lacks transparency?
This show should have ended last season, so annoying. Yeah, she was definitely not going to stab George with the knife 🙄 The Church is so dumb at this point. Getting very old.
I’ve never been able to reconcile that from S1E1 Dorothy goes to work thinking the doll is real but , yet can do her job in the present just fine. Explain this to me did I miss something?
-I'm hoping Leanne is indeed a Fallen Angel. In the beginning, I believe Leanne was an innocent, with her child-like idolization of Dorothy. But she became self-indulgent; enjoying the pleasures of life, the comfort of a family, the deliciousness of food, she tried lust with Tobe, but then went after Julian, the pride she has in her powers; not all, but most of the seven deadly sins. Also worshipping an idol over 'him'. 'Him' could still refer to the smoke entity. However, George later specifically mentions 'God' will forgive Leanne of all her sins. -Julian's feelings toward Leanne are complicated to say the least. He has always had some kind of void in his life. -Has Leanne's powers ever worked on Tobe? On Halloween, was it a coincidence that Tobe wore the Grim Reaper costume? Was it only a trick so that Leanne might be fooled? Or was it portent of Tobe being the one to take Leanne out? Just a thought. -Leanne has been through a lot of grief, but she has also caused a lot of grief. I believe she is responsible for all the chaotic events that have affected the Turners & anyone else who crosses her. The Turners are quite selfish people though. The only character I've felt any sympathy for is Jericho. -I didn't see Dorothy talking with the paramedics at all. Seems like she'd at least want to know the specific status of her husband & brother. And she herself had fallen again in the bathroom. Also, wouldn't the cops be asking tons of questions about these 'accidents'? Especially a knife wound! (poss. next ep) -Dorothy now 'standing on her own two feet' in the shower, reminded me of when she was first given the reborn doll by Natalie (where did she go?) in her catatonic state while 'sitting down' in the shower. -Dorothy crawling to crying Jericho, may be a step toward redemption, but I still want Dorothy to realize herself that she left Jericho in the car & face the full force of what she'd done. But I was reminded by another post that Dorothy must be told by someone she loves = Sean &/or Julian. -I've had many theories about D&J's mom. Dorothy once mentions 'what happened to mom' while talking to Julian, which could mean death, suicide or possibly alive in an asylum? I'm still suspicious of Frank & why he had 3 hazmat suits during 'Itch'. Could he have gaslighted his wife into a breakdown? So, he could pursue younger women like Kourtney with a K? Did he make the Faustian Bargain? I had a theory he might be the hook man. I really want more background information about Roscoe & his experience under hypnosis. -No, Leanne will not go quietly into that dark night. I knew the plan would fail; this proves how much Leanne has changed, Dorothy is her new religion now, not 'him'. George was extremely trusting, thinking Leanne would destroy herself. He should've brought a lot more people with him. Even though Dorothy is injured, she has recovered quickly. Is it too much to hope Dorothy could end Leanne? - RIP George
Dorothy seems to be showing empathy for Leanne, and in return, Leanne gets what she always wanted... someone who truly cares. Sean just wanted to continue the "Jericho" lie by getting rid of Leanne. Julian is just conflicted and has no direction. Leanne waving bye to Julian was so fitting...basically releasing him and leaving him to fend for himself. Sean is now being replaced by Leanne, which is kinda sad for Sean since his character had so many twists and turns i.e. in the early episodes, it was like he was looking for a way out of his relationship with Dorothy, then he stayed out of guilt, and now, ultimately, he has been dismissed by Leanne herself...next 2 episodes should be interesting
@@anthonygettler2518 I think Sean believes Uncke George ,if its cause he wants to really bad Idk but he believed him about Leanne.I think he'd like to keep Jericho but if it comes between Jericho and Leanne or Dorothy I think he picks Dorothy. I also think Dorothy has to remember to bring this all to an end whichever way it goes ,Dorothy may want to keep Jericho after she knows what really happened we just don't know. The loss of a child is tremendous Ibthink most would want to keep the baby.
@mandy good take on Sean...i can see your pov...it just goes to show how we can watch the same show and have opinions that differ, mostly because of our own personal life experiences...this is one of the better series going right now...just wish the episodes were like an hour🙃
I loved this episode. My favorite together with the pilot episode: great!! Now i must watch it again to unravel everything… i will comment again. See u later ,thank you for your breakdown . Anyhow love from his part : nit there. The entire turner family plus Julian are a parody of a selfish upper middle class in Philly . That is it they are not nice people… it was a disappointment.yes julian didn’t feel well to hand in Lyanne to uncle George, but he didn’t put enough of a fight in my opinion in order to save her .
For all the people who thought Leeann, so nice shame on you, that girl is pure evil I said that she was evil she’s never been a nice person and everyone was like oh she just wants to help Dorothy. Well, like I believed, she was supposed to take out the entire family anyways, but she wanted Dorothy to be her mommy. Now poor Dorothy is going to be tortured for the rest of her life.
Great review. I was also on the edge of my seat during this episode, definitely one of the best of series. To answer your question about Julian, I think he actually cares for her, maybe not necessarily “in love” with her, but cares enough that he is torn between which side he wants to be on. And he for sure is afraid of her, he knows she’s not a “normal girl”. I thought she was going to kill both men in this episode as well. I’ve been seeing the theory in the comments about how this all might be happening in Dorothy’s head; this thought went through my mind last night while watching the episode. I hope that is not what all this ends up being. I just hoping they don’t leave us with a bunch of unanswered questions at the end.
I think Uncle George sacrificed himself because he knew he couldn’t beat Leanne. I think Rosco will take his place and he will get rid of Leanne. When Leanne is final gone, “Jericho” will turn back into the doll and Dorothy will remember everything that happened. The last scene would be Dorothy running the upstairs to check on Jericho and only to find him as a doll. She screams Shawn’s name and he races upstairs to enters the room. He doesn’t say anything, he just embraces her at the same time is relieved that now they can heal. Also, I think Julian will die as well. The end
I don’t believe this for a second but IMAGINE if Leanne and Dorothy were the same person just in slightly different universes… Dorothy leaves Jericho in the car, other Dorothy version of herself (Leanne) actually saves Jericho from the car (manifested as Leanne resurrecting Jericho) and ends up going a bit off the rails over what almost happened and gets super overprotective because of it. Again, there’s no part of me that actually believes this but it’s just fun to think about 😂
My theorie is that Leanne isn’t really a servant of God but a pagan God who gave her her powers remember the crosses un her room) and she is one of the few of the church who has those powers if not the only one. And one of her power is to be able to cross the world between the living and the dead. She also wasn’t supposed to bring Jericho back from the dead but she did because of her obsession for Dorothy. And by doing so she disrupted some kind of balance (the dead are supposed to stay dead) that is causing all the apocalypse. So for my english mistakes Im french. 😂😂😂😂
If Leanne is a fallen angel or in other words Lucifer, maybe when she brought Julian back, she took his soul? Or maybe Julian sold his soul in some way?
Listen this was a helluva episode. Dark sided. Phew when she came upstairs humming I was so scared 😂. I can honestly say I thought Sean and Julian were going to be out of here. Permanently. I just really hope we get some clear cut answers for the next episode.
Dorothy will become She Ra as she said back in S1. She will prevail. This entire show has been truly about Dorothy and Leanne. No baby, no Sean, no Julian. Dottie will find out it was Sean who did the dirty deed regarding their child. Sean may/should not find himself back in the home? Does Leanne have powers? I think not. People think she has them but she doesn’t IMO. I guess we will find out or not. They may leave it for us to decide for ourselves. That’s my guess. It’s easier that way. This program has gone on way too long. I’m bored at this point but do want to see the ending.
Leanne can't let Dorothy go like possessive. Better hurts her than she might die by knowing her son died. Why Dorothy? There must be something connect between them. Her intention is good but her supernatural is evil. I think Dorothy will realize her sickness eventually and can live without Leanne. Leanne might be with her homeless people and still powerful.
Why don't they just let her be the nanny and leave it at that, but there would be no drama so I get it but leanne has been through a lot j don't blame her for not trusting the men any more
Is there anyway Jericho could have another chance ? Like could Leanne trade her life for jerichos since she loves Dorothy and wants Dorothy to be happy
i believe Leanne does have real powers but that she was always abused by their parents and church, who already presumed she would be the so called fallen angel, and they acted with her like when they used to burn women calling them whiches. I think Leanne was always a victim of those deliriums, and sadistic and masochist way the cult has and of course she will turned out disturbed. Than the Turners also never really care about her, and ok they were dealing with their own grief and blocking their traumas, so of course they would be oblivious to help and see Leanne as someone who also needed actually help and of course Leanne is disturbed, but to me in this last episode, was a hudge alegory of miss concepts into religious delirium and insanity and Sean and Julian were the perfect simbol of banalization of evil, because in the end of the day they are completely selfish, despite the fact that Julian was also taking vantage of Leanne by having an affair with her in a no simetrical relationship, like both Sean and Julian both misogynistic as well uncle George. is typical in misogyni the woman is always the malicious one who are tempting others to be bad or they are wiches, umhummmm... i'm not saying the series is misogynistic, but that it plays out with this inconsciouness symbols and structures of society. I felt really sad for Leanne.
I guess I want to know just as much as Leanne does on why Dorothy doesn't like Leanne. Dorothy brought Leanne into the home. She picked her out of all the resumes. She made Sean and Jillian give Leanne a chance when they didn't trust her. It is Dorothy who has to accept accountability for her tragic mistake of killing her son. Don't get me wrong I don't like Leanne either at this point. However why didn't Dorothy like her? She doesn't even accept accountability for picking Leanne from the resumes and telling Sean to make it work for her. Dorothy brought all of this on everyone. Just because Leanne was obsessed with Dorothy it doesn't mean Dorothy had to pick her.
At first Dorothy like her but after many tragic events, she realized Leanne is evil and not innocent like before. She doubts something wrong with Leanne even though, she still doesn't know Leanne has superpower like Julian and Sean.
Because Leanne didn't stop torture her family like spell everyone. They know strange things happening when she came. Dorothy has a right to think Leanne as "the help" since she's "servant".
@@lollypop4555 she’s a nanny. Was hired as a nanny. But people like Dorothy see the people who raise their children as “the help”. Off topic. Servant of god or the devil. Not servant of turners.
@@ashmorsmith It's servant who employed to take care of the house and their children. She's servant for both of turners and god that's why this show called "servant" not "nanny".
I really have not liked the actress in the role of Leanne. I don't feel like she's a good fit for the role. She's a good actress but I don't think she should have been cast for this part. Every time I watch the show I think all the other actors are really strong in their parts but her part annoys me and it's sad because she is the main character. The show was good in the first and second season now it just feels ridiculous and unrealistic. She literally threw Dorothy down the stairs and they're kind of acting like nothing happened I guess it's supposed to be similar to how they act like a baby didn't die and come back to life. That being said I gladly watch M. Knight's next show knowing it will start out strong at least.
@@abhishekjain627 I checked my eyes and she still look the same because I was actually checking my opinion when I commented. And I see that it's different than yours and that's okay. 😀 I think she's a great actress but I have my opinion on her in this role.
I almost think that Leanne is suppose to be the annoying and unlikeable person. She wont leave the Turner’s alone even though they don’t want her there. She has powers and can cause real damage when people cross her but then can bring people back to life. She is the angel and the demon. That is not an easy character to play, how she makes you feel it seems she is successful at portraying many different things. You now feel how the Turner’s feel, she has taken over their home and everything around it. She’s a good actress indeed.
Team Leanne 100%!! If she wasn’t so powerful everyone wouldn’t be trying to take her down and kill her. You can’t honestly say that Dorothy is a likeable character? Sean was (until a few episodes ago) so bloody kind) … he was pretty much the moral character of the show. Can’t you understand how sad Leanne’s traumas of childhood are? All she’s ever wanted was a mum like Dorothy! THAT doesn’t make her evil. It’s ptsd!
I think winning to Leanne is “beating” the lesser saints and almost becoming a good like figure. When the girl from the park came and said she trusts Leanne “with all of her heart” … so many people need a crutch. A cult, god, religion, lesser saints, the devil…. Leanne?

FOR SURE LETS DO IT!!!!!
Yes definitely
Fa sho
Yes. I watch at midnight though not sure if I could wait till next day but maybe I will since I always watch alone
YES!
I was fearful for Leanne and tense for the rest, but I still cannot blame her, literally everyone repeatedly keeps trying to kill her
The next episode is called Awake and the description says “Sean and Jillian open up about a secret”. The photo for the episode is Dorothy holding Jericho, they most certainly tell Dorthy the truth next episode.
It’ll be interesting to see how they reach her after leanne kicked them out
I hope so. Maybe Dorothy will be strong enough to hear. She's different now from when we first met her.
@@MovieFiles True!
@@Gigglingsiren Exactly what I was thinking!
I thought that!
Good theory
Yes, I’m liking this theory.
yes good theory!
I absolutely loved the kill scene. It was truly poetic.... I feel bad for Dorothy because now she is stuck with Leanne, but like Dorothy said they are both tenacious. Don't sleep on Dorothy.
I have a feeling the next episode will be like the movie ‘What Ever Happened to Baby Jane.’
Maybe next week we’ll get some answers
This thought came to me while watching this episode. I hope that’s not what it turns out to be, though.
Shirlene, I feared that when I saw the title of the next episode
@@songbirdnzinga7709 where did you see it?
@@shirlene2911 "Awake" it's on all platforms, Google etc
Chill it wasnt even close to the best episodes of tv. Thats Crazy talk
@@asant90 oh dang…I forgot about The Last of Us…ok, maybe not the best. I think I am still bummed about Bella Ramsey as Ellie.
I don't think Julian has feelings for Leanne, I think he's just afraid. When she asked him "what are you afraid of", he paused a bit before his answer, and I'm guessing the real answer was "you".
Loved this episode! Finally getting into the good stuff!
After this episode I went full team Leanne, after all that effort to capture her then bringing her to George just to untie her hands and worst of all, George hands the knife over to Leanne!? What did u expect.. of course you’d get killed!🤦🏻♂️
RIGHT??? Ole boy WANTED to die at that point!
Yeah I’m very excited to see what comes of them finally being alone and what truths come.
The fact that Leanne and Dorthy end out the episode on the staircase lol!! #wicked
I really enjoyed this episode.
-Is Leanne invincible?
-Is he Satan? or another powerful entity? Will we ever find out?
- If Leanne is this big powerful character. why would she settle down for Dorothy? Why would she just choose to be someone's nanny?
Because for her the most important thing is to have a family. She uses her powers to get what she wants… not power itself interests her
She watched dorothy all her life while she was on the news in the background she didnt have a good mom and dorothy is a mother leanne wishes she had..
Right! They’re totally dragging this out it’s getting ridiculous
They should have told Dorothy about Jericho episodes ago if not a whole season ago! Show how she grapples with that vs these weak/failed attempts to oust Leanne every episode.
I agree too dragged out. This could have ended a long time ago.
Great review!!
at this point, I doubt we’ll see her again
The guys will finally tell her the truth but Julian will be shocked when he finds out the real truth!
He better not "The Village" or "The Happening" us!
This episode felt like a true horror movie. It was great!
Great review Elliott! The episode was interesting. I'm totally in for a watch-a-long when the finale premieres. It would be a fun send off for a meh show. Sorry 😞
Leann's a cold piece. She told Sean he ain't coming back in HIS house. 🤣
Can’t you sympathise with her childhood traumas? How she were raised and that sean, did, in fact… try to kill her?

I think Sean and Julian got what they deserved. They tried to kill Leanne.
Yeah, I don't take kindly when someone tries to kill my little princess (Leanne). Fuck those 2!
This was a good episode. I don't think Leanne is supernatural. I think it's about what is BELIEVED Leanne is. The power of belief implies . Good review Elliott.
Can’t wait to get the definitive answer, hopefully soon my friend!
I agree she’s NOT supernatural Luna ! Yay
So the ending could go either way
I think it opened back up again when the outside road got opened up it traveled to the outside
I think they half-ass fixed it but old houses don't put up with BS repairs very well.
I hope this is fake
I just read somewhere that on the next episode we will finally see hookman, officer Reyes and Natalie.
I feel bad for her leanne, she just wanted a family, she was so happy when she was being treated as a family member in the beginning of season 3, now suddenly she is evil wtf lmao?? It’s like danerys targereyan arc of game of thrones 😂😂
"let it be fear" 🤣
Oh, God, don't remind me of how Dumb and Dumber decimated Daenerys' character that final season.
We want answers
But it's nice to hear others theories.
Why didn’t any of the paramedics see Leanne?
They mentioned she was the one told them it was a accident
I’m really tired of people trying to take out Leanne repeatedly and nothing ever happens. Never saw so many incompetent people including uncle George. I must keep reminding myself it’s just a tv show. Seriously though, it’s just a repeat to fill time imo. I suppose it’s pushing the story forward but at such a slow pace. The boys will tell Dottie the “real” truth the one that Julian doesn’t even know. Sean will man up and become a hero finally putting his foot down to save his family. At this point just want a satisfactory ending, please 😮
what real truth?
Glad the showdown will be Dorothy vs Leanne. Definitely think once D accepts her grief and loss she’ll take Leanne out
Best ep. I have seen from the the series since s1. Just hate how they have made Leanne to be the exclusive antagonist after building her character up over four seasons. Let’s remember, it was Dorothy, Julian and Sean that k!lled Jericho.
This series is the kind of creepy I just can't tolerate, but I do like your breakdowns! 🤣
Appreciate you 😀
IT KICKED ASS! 🙀💪🏽
A live watch-along would be #wicked
Dorothy did not leave the baby in the car!
It has always been about Dorothy.
She will become She Ra as she says early on. She will prevail. Leanne has no powers she has convinced people she does. They may leave it that each of us can determine if she does or doesn’t. It’s easy to do that rather than be specific.
When Dorothy finds out WHO left the baby in the car-they will not be allowed back in the house.
Dottie looking down upon Leanne shows that she will be the powerful one. She’s not taking any more crap from Leanne. It’s war.
Leanne is the fallen angel of The Fallen Angel
At some point Dorothy will remember, right? RIGHT?
This card hasn't been played yet.
The uncle George scene was stupid.
💯
Agreed, as all of them with him in it
To me his speech and untying her before it signaled his death and that was total filler
I thought that no one will ever be attempted by the darkhold again🤣
im tired of the constant trying to kill leanne and the constant failing as leanne continues to destroy everyone and everything
yes, the same cycle over and over
Loved it, loved it , loved it.
#Wicked 🙂
The actors in this episode were all SO good.
I just wanna know wtf LeAnne is and why she chose Dorothy? Tired of being left with more questions after every episode.
Hopefully next week 🤷🏽♂️
The thing that makes it hard to be sympathetic towards Leanne is that the Turners constantly beg her for insights and answers, and Leanne always has some coy, naive response. The Turners just want to know who or what they are dealing with and Leanne won’t give real answers. How do you trust someone who lacks transparency?
i really thought everyone was bout to die
This show should have ended last season, so annoying. Yeah, she was definitely not going to stab George with the knife 🙄
The Church is so dumb at this point. Getting very old.
My only complaint is that they are short episodes
I’ve never been able to reconcile that from S1E1 Dorothy goes to work thinking the doll is real but , yet can do her job in the present just fine. Explain this to me did I miss something?
Lesser saints are PATHETIC. They need to answer our darn questions.
(poss. next ep)
-Dorothy now 'standing on her own two feet' in the shower, reminded me of when she was first given the reborn doll by Natalie (where did she go?) in her catatonic state while 'sitting down' in the shower.
I disagree with what you're saying about Sean completely
That's fine. dialog is what it's all about...if you don't mind me asking, what is your take on Sea

A live watch lady would be #wicked!!! ❤
I think Dorothy is going to take Leanne down.
This was scary I loved it😻 #wicked
How many more episodes???
I’m thinking we’re gonna find out that Dorthy is from the Lesser Saints and she’ll straighten Leanne out ! Lol
Don’t feel sympathy for Leanna… she’s been doing some evil stuff to the family
This is stupid theory. But. What if Leann took the junkie baby who might have not been alive In the car and then she took Jericho
Im getting Shutter Island vibes
Could Aunt Josephine or Aunt May be Dorothy and Julian’s mother?!
Why don't they just let her be the nanny and leave it at that, but there would be no drama so I get it but leanne has been through a lot j don't blame her for not trusting the men any more
This is starting to look like "Devil in Ohio" on Netflix
Is there anyway Jericho could have another chance ? Like could Leanne trade her life for jerichos since she loves Dorothy and wants Dorothy to be happy
Jericho is alive. She doesn’t need to trade.
@@ashmorsmith has he always been alive or did Leanne resurrect him
@@janemallia997 he died. She … or something brought him back.
thats what u get for double crossing leanne
i believe Leanne does have real powers but that she was always abused by their parents and church, who already presumed she would be the so called fallen angel, and they acted with her like when they used to burn women calling them whiches.
Dorothy is cold and cruel and has always seen Leanne as “the help”.
It's all becoming annoying..can they just turn jericho back to a doll please.. wtf ..
🤣
Feelings….BORED!

I only care for the Jericho who died. Other than that I dislike all of the other characters. Especially Leanne & Dorothy. Both are annoyingAF.
I feel like the last episode is going to be pure bullshit with a pointless ending.
I hope not
@@Yuum.yummms If you think I’m getting paid, you just as delusional as the characters in this show 🤦🏽♂️
Lol

Appreciate you sharing your thoughts. I personally feel like she’s gotten better in the role.
I love the actress, she is perfect for leanne, check your eyes😂😂
I think she didn’t kill then because it would hurt Dorothy too much. At the end of the day, Leanne isn’t “evil”… she’s just lost.
Leanne?
