Good to see win UFA with Ryu. But in the end bracket tournament has luck helps too. I hope Ryu can be useful to tournament has not relying luck like sfleague and topanga too. Because I never see Ryu can do well with sfleague and topanga.
Bruh Kusanagi won his matches super clean most of the time. You are insane if you think its about Luck. He also fought varies of characters which normally ends up bad for Ryu.
@@Cosmoman78 I did not say luck is everything and some pro gamer admit that sometime bracket tournament has luck too (example : Kawano said he won evo 2022 because he was lucky and if he was in loser side he get washed by Idom). I respect that Kusanagi is amazing player and won with Ryu. If you believe bracket tournament is luck does not included then try to think what if grand final opponent was guile or guile is meta character (Ryu vs Guile is worse than Ken Cammy M.bison). And I still believe not just Ryu can win in tournament even Kimbery Jamie Manon E.honda etc. can win in bracket too. Even Daigo say bracket has luck too.
@@synthesize9068 I get why you feel this way, but for me these throw loops made it legendary. Throw loops are risky, they're a gamble. If your opponent backdashes or neutral jumps, you're wide open for a full combo. Six times in a row, Xiaohai thought "no way he's doing it again" and six times Kusanagi called his bluff. It was a mental war and Kusanagi won.
Throw loops are easily countered if you used OD move, or jump (like what Xiaohai did in the end). Especially for character like Cammy, using throw loops against Cammy is super BALLSY move with 200IQ mind game. Honestly it's Xiaohai's own fault for not reacting against it early, not because Throw Loops are cheap.
@@Cosmoman78 super close minded statement, you cant say “Xiaohai should have divekick” when Kusanagi could have done a meaty ST.MP then probably one shot you because its Ryu. Yes, he could have DP’ed or divekicked but he considered the options heavily because they werent in his favor at all.
No, this is the French one. He started out with SFIV and was really good to where the France FGC began referring to him as ‘Daigo Jr.’ He was originally a Seth main and finished top 8 in two tournaments in 2013. He didn’t play V but recently returned with VI as a Luke main but now transitioned to Ryu as his main and it’s led to great success for him including recently winning UFA 2024.
@@cmurphy0707thanks for the background info. And he must have been young in sf4?? Glad he’s back his Ryu is completely cracked. His UFA performance was unhinged

And he won UFA which was a capcom cup 2024 qualifier. Dude was playing out of his mind.
That fight against that Akuma player though🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯
That comeback against angrybird's Akuma was insane.
Akuma just CANNOT take any hits from Ryu lmao, I think lore wise that's kinda cool

Kusanagi is a beast!
5:57 that's really sick.

O angrybird tava jogando meio estranho, estava totalmente na defensiva e se jogando no canto.

Capcom precisa atualizar o Ryu pra ficar mais foda, tatsumaki e shoryuken elétricos vão deixar o personagem mais top...
