try using the air fryer to heat up a lot of trader joe's frozen foods-it takes a fraction of the time/doesn't affect the taste and helps cut down on energy usage/bill!
GIRL air fryers are incredible! You just gotta know how to use it, you can cook anything in it! Look up Pinterest recipes or join Facebook recipe groups!
honeslty, this comment made me feel better about living at home this year! I've been struggling with fomo w/ not living on campus.. but i know it would've not been worth it with classes being online..
Top tip- if you buy from home goods or one of the tjxx stores- don’t take the tag off until you have it in the spot it fits and are happy there- you don’t need a receipt to return there. I’ve always lived by a - if I buy something and it doesn’t have a place or I don’t wear it in 2 weeks of coming home it needs to go back
Girl for the air fryer: chicken tendies, sweet potato fries, left over pizza, any other leftovers, burgers, I literally just throw anything in there and press go LOL
for the shoes - try leaving them in your car during the summer to get them warm and then put them on and that will help break them in! we always did that for our soccer cleats in college and it helps get the shoes molded to your foot and worn in so much
Google photos is an app and all you do is set it up with your email and let it access your photos. Then every time you go in the app they are automatically uploaded. It’s all automatic and no work! If you delete them off your phone, they are still in your google photos
My worst purchase was a $79 yoga mat. I ordered it from a well known company and had heard great things about their quality. The mat itself is too thin and I stopped working out consistently once summer ended.. so I've only used it a handful of times. I thought the expensive price would make me more motivated to use it.. I was wrong!
Claudia C Manduka. I ordered the travel mat because it was one of the cheaper ones but turns out it’s the thinnest. I’ve tried their more expensive mats (Pro I think) before which are significantly thicker.
I use google photos, but I also make it a point to do a hard backup to my computer/hard drive, that way you can just delete them from your phone and not worry about securities of the different services, no need to have them stored on the cloud if they’re already on your computer/hard drive (I used to work in cellular and the paying for iCloud storage drove me crazy bc people thought it was their only option or thought it expanded their phone storage 😆
You have to use google photos!!! It’s so much nicer, you can choose for the app to automatically download all of your photos so you never have to worry about it!
I have google photos on my phone and computer and you can sync it up to your photos to automatically download. It’s super easy and as you take photos or screenshots it automatically syncs it up on google photos!
Google photos is so helpful! it automatically uploads your photos so you don't even need to upload one by one. And if you delete a photo off your apple photo app it wont delete in google photos.
my CA apartment that I had to sign a lease for in August because my job wouldn't say we would be remote for a long time....we have been fully remote since March 2020 so I could have saved thousands in rent + just moved in with my bf in Chicago as I have been quarantining in Chicago ... but paying my CA rent lol - but hey grateful to be with my bf and my family over everything
If you only use your watch when you workout. Try a fitbit instead! Tracks your workouts and all that fun stuff! Love mine but I don't use it as much since I got my samsung watch
GIRL. AIR FRYER. USE IT!!! CHUCK anythingggg in tht bishhh it will taste amazing!! chicken w eggs then panko bread crumbs w seasoning suchhh fire chicken !!! any veggies sooo crispy n good!! use tht shit i didnt use mine for a year but now im obsessed
I definitely regret those 50 bucks spent on a serum that did nothing good for my skin. I usually avoid buying any type of kitchen appliances, I just know I won't use them as much as I should and they just end up taking up space. It happened with a steamer and it happened with one of those pop-corn air-popping things. Later I forgot about never getting any good use of the cooking electronics I buy and saw a rice cooker on discount, this was like...sometime in 2019. I love rice and I also make batches of rice for my dog, so I thought a rice cooker will make my life so much easier, but I hate how it cooks rice, because I like my rice more "risotto" like, just a little watery. So yeah... After all the fails I have stopped buying all these kinds of easier-cooking electronics, I prefer a more classic way of cooking ...
I completely agree with accidentally wasting money on home decor! I started taking screenshots online/photos in-store and then throwing them all in Photoshop to see if it works together. It's saved so much money and time standing in line at the post office with a giant accent chair 😂
Ok maybe I’m wrong but the rug looks more cool toned on the reverse side! You could try to use the flip side...it’s not super soft but I’ve done it before and it adds a cool texture to your space, especially if it’s just under your bed :) idk 🤷♀️!! Dats a lotta work doe hahahah
This is not exactly true--Google has 2FA and SSL encryption for data transit, and 128-bit AES encryption for data at rest. The only difference between Google and Apple is that Apple uses 256-bit encryption for keychain info (passwords), but this is not a consequential difference--128 vs 256 is just a marketing ploy when it comes to consumer data protection. Apple also heavily markets that key management is on the device. TL;DR, they're both highly secure and encrypted, and the weakest link in that protection is the end user's susceptibility to things like phishing.
Google photos take FOREVER to upload, I have less pictures than you and tried to upload a handful of them and it took over a week and still didn’t finish. And it’s so much easier to use iCloud between computers and your phone ALSO try and break your shoes in with a hair dryer- I did that on my Golden Gooses and it changed my life
You should have disputed the charge for the rug with your credit card company if the rug company wouldn't pay for return shipping and refund your money. It was clearly not the same rug as pictured.
I thought I’d hate my watch when I first got it and after I connected with other people to share my activity rings it was more fun! Also not having to have my phone on my hip to get messages and notifications is great!!!!! 😊
omg i didn’t use my air fryer for a full year after getting it but one day my boyfriend and i decided to try it out and now we haven’t stopped and use it all the time!! you will definitely start using it eventually, once you try it out for various things it’s so good :)
I’ve done google photos before on google drive and it got so full that I wasn’t able to receive emails. So be cautious with it. Keep us updated if it ends up working for you!
Completely agree on the designer sneakers! I bought some YSL low top white sneakers in ITALY of all places... I was never able to break them in and they are so painful. I've tried everything and I've given up lol
My worst purchase was a vlog camera. I started vlogging this summer and bought a camera on eBay because it had a flip up screen but the audio is terrible and the color is kind of off. I don’t even use the camera and just end up vlogging on my phone, and putting up with poor quality in low light
you should rlly download google photos! you dont have to manually upload anything. the app does it for you and then theres a button that says free up space on the google photos app and if you hit that, it deletes all the stuff in your photos on your phone that is 100% backed up on google photos so you can not be worried that they didnt get synced
I love using the air fryer to cook salmon. Even for just that it’s worth it to me! For some reason cooking salmon in the oven is so frustrating to me I feel like it doesn’t cook all the way through
I love my Apple Watch! I’ve had the series 3 for almost three years & I wear it all day. Especially during work from home this year it’s been great for making sure that I stand up and get get my steps in everyday.
before she even mentioned the sweatshirt I was like woah wait a sec and checked last year’s video because I remembered her wearing it in that video too ! love u g💕😂
QOTD Answer: a camera. I bought a camera that I thought would be mid range on Amazon and it’s terrible. I spent like $80 after shipping and everything and I’ve used it once
I think you like trader joes hashbrowns and those are sooooo good in the air fryer!!! For sure try it! But I agree, an air fryer isn't really worth it. But I think my worst purchases this year was how much I spend on Starbucks and Dunkin. I definitely could just make coffees and food at home, but it's always better when it's not from home hahahah. Oops!
If you got that on etsy contact etsy customer service. As an etsy seller that is not allowed. The lighting is not a good excuse because that is a HUGE difference. Etsy will most likely refund you and probably not even take the.money from the seller. Its worth a shot.
this terrible purchase really wasn't mine...but back in January my parents planned our family vacation to the Bahamas (which was supposed to be in June) and we still haven't gotten our money back!
My worst purchase was a super expensive garmin exercise watch that I never use because I always forget to charge it & I use my phone on runs anyway to listen to music. Big waste of like $300 lol 🙄😅
If you switch from an iphone to an Android (the Pixels are really good, much better than the iphones in so many ways anyways), Google photos backup is automatic.
So you've been struggling to find the right word for your space lol so I googled it "A condominium is similar to an apartment in that it's an individual unit residing in a building or community of buildings. But unlike an apartment, a condo is owned by its resident, not rented from a landlord. A townhouse is an attached home also owned by its resident" so now we know we can call it an apartment.
Hi love!! Loved this video and love you!!! This vid was very echoey for me!! I have really sensitive ears (I can hear EVERYTHINGGGG) haha. Just wanted to let you know in case other ppl notice it too!!
plz use ur air fryer
try using the air fryer to heat up a lot of trader joe's frozen foods-it takes a fraction of the time/doesn't affect the taste and helps cut down on energy usage/bill!
Dumb purchase: Puppy toys that I knew wouldn't last but kept buying. It adds up over time.
Best purchase: labrador
GIRL air fryers are incredible! You just gotta know how to use it, you can cook anything in it! Look up Pinterest recipes or join Facebook recipe groups!
For real, my air fryer changed my life!!
My apartment at school!! No need for me to be paying a monthly rent to be doing virtual school. It’s been a struggle 😫
honeslty, this comment made me feel better about living at home this year! I've been struggling with fomo w/ not living on campus.. but i know it would've not been worth it with classes being online..
when you first mentioned the rug i thought you were going to talk about the one brody spilled coffee on! haha
same lol!!
Ok sweatshirt workkkkk that was one of my FAV collabs
Google photos it's super easy! All you do is sync it and it automatically downloads all your pics from your photos on your iPhone to google photos.
Is there unlimited storage on it?
@@miatokarski448 yes!
@@miatokarski448 yes but it’s about 15gb which is ALOT
BRODY is the best purchase of 2020 🐶🥰👍🏻
Google photos is also automatic and free!
Truth or drink video w max or youtube pals on zoom!!
Top tip- if you buy from home goods or one of the tjxx stores- don’t take the tag off until you have it in the spot it fits and are happy there- you don’t need a receipt to return there. I’ve always lived by a - if I buy something and it doesn’t have a place or I don’t wear it in 2 weeks of coming home it needs to go back
I didn’t use my air fryer for a long time then when I started I never stopped
I bought the soul bike too and it literally saved my life this year. Most fav thing ever
I'm shook at how many photos you have omg 😮how many gigs do your photos take up?
Girl for the air fryer: chicken tendies, sweet potato fries, left over pizza, any other leftovers, burgers, I literally just throw anything in there and press go LOL
my boyfriend also cooks frozen raw chicken and frozen raw salmon in there without even having to thaw it and it comes out so good!
for the shoes - try leaving them in your car during the summer to get them warm and then put them on and that will help break them in! we always did that for our soccer cleats in college and it helps get the shoes molded to your foot and worn in so much
Could you do a video on how you manage/save money so well at this age? I’m about to graduate college and I’m just curious to know!
bro keep the rug you never know if it will match a future house or apartment and its a DOPE rug
Can’t wait to watch this!!! Especially because I want a dyson🤣
Mine just broke after 2 1/2 years... i did end up buying the airwrap to replace it because i loved it so much..
Make sure to go to Nordstrom rack multiple times! I got the cheetah barefoot dreams blanket for $40!!
i want to see gretchen with fluffy eyebrows so badly
Google photos is an app and all you do is set it up with your email and let it access your photos. Then every time you go in the app they are automatically uploaded. It’s all automatic and no work! If you delete them off your phone, they are still in your google photos
Any clothes I planned to wear on vacations, etc this year!!! I’ve only worn loungewear 😂
My worst purchase was a $79 yoga mat. I ordered it from a well known company and had heard great things about their quality. The mat itself is too thin and I stopped working out consistently once summer ended.. so I've only used it a handful of times. I thought the expensive price would make me more motivated to use it.. What brand is it? I’m looking for a new one and I want to avoid the one you used!
Claudia C Manduka. I ordered the travel mat because it was one of the cheaper ones but turns out it’s the thinnest. I’ve tried their more expensive mats (Pro I think) before which are significantly thicker.
My gym membership 😂🤣😄 I ended up losing the weight by not being able to eat out 😬
love the spelling of your name ❤️❤️🤪
Join an air fryer recipe group on Facebook! Lots of easy inspiration!

u should try buying comfortable insoles for the uncomfortable sneakers!
AHHHH my favorite series!!!!

Google photos automatically uploads every picture I take! You don't have to do it manually
iCloud is a lot more secure/encrypted than google photos. not sure if it's a concern for you but I'd say it's worth it.

To back up your photos use Shutterfly! It’s free and you can make books and stuff out of it
Google photos take FOREVER to upload, I have less pictures than you and tried to upload a handful of them and it took over a week and still didn’t finish. And it’s so much easier to use iCloud between computers and your phone ALSO try and break your shoes in with a hair dryer- I did that on my Golden Gooses and it changed my life
My husband bought me the Dyson hair dryer i just got it yesterday and used it! Love it!!!! Dried my hair sooo darn fast i was shocked.
I love mine too. You have to soak the filter once a week - people don’t follow all the instructions and get upset for it ending up breaking :(
Pretty sure google photos are going the way of iCloud summer 2021. You will have to start paying for storage over a certain amount.
You should have disputed the charge for the rug with your credit card company if the rug company wouldn't pay for return shipping and refund your money. It was clearly not the same rug as pictured.
I should've !!
I thought I’d hate my watch when I first got it and after I connected with other people to share my activity rings it was more fun! Also not having to have my phone on my hip to get messages and notifications is great!!!!! 😊
Worse purchase for me: a planner😂😂 only because I ended up using a digital planner more often than my physical planner
I love the air fryer for potatoes and reheating pizza ! Such a game changer
omg i didn’t use my air fryer for a full year after getting it but one day my boyfriend and i decided to try it out and now we haven’t stopped and use it all the time!! you will definitely start using it eventually, once you try it out for various things it’s so good :)

Completely agree on the designer sneakers! I bought some YSL low top white sneakers in ITALY of all places... I was never able to break them in and they are so painful. I've tried everything and I've given up lol
where can i find those big white pillows on your bed?
My kitchenaid. I used it once and couldn't figure it out. Thankfully I was able to resell it
My worst purchase was a vlog camera. I started vlogging this summer and bought a camera on eBay because it had a flip up screen but the audio is terrible and the color is kind of off. I don’t even use the camera and just end up vlogging on my phone, and putting up with poor quality in low light
ok but the trader joes gnocchi is so fire in the air fryer!!!!
Best air fryer advice for cooking bacon: put a sheet of foil in it then lay the bacon on top. It’ll collect the grease for easy clean up :-)
That’s the company’s fault for putting a picture of the rug and then it looks completely different IRL. UGH
you should rlly download google photos! you dont have to manually upload anything. the app does it for you and then theres a button that says free up space on the google photos app and if you hit that, it deletes all the stuff in your photos on your phone that is 100% backed up on google photos so you can not be worried that they didnt get synced
Go through your bank and dispute the charge!!! Or go through Etsy and file a claim!
Gretchen, we need a desk tour ASAP!!! 😻
Toss veggies like brussels in oil prior to air frying!! The spray is not enough for me bc the food does dry out
Please do a best and worst skincare purchases!
We WAY over pay for our cable bill. We hardly ever use anything other than Apple TV. Totally something we’re going to handle in the new year!
I love using the air fryer to cook salmon. Even for just that it’s worth it to me! For some reason cooking salmon in the oven is so frustrating to me I feel like it doesn’t cook all the way through
An air fryer is the best thing you could ever buy once you use it you wont! Pizza rolls, Homemade fires 😍
I love my Apple Watch! I’ve had the series 3 for almost three years & I wear it all day. Especially during work from home this year it’s been great for making sure that I stand up and get get my steps in everyday.
your uploads make my day!! love you gretchen
That’s so true about making it your own over time !
Is a air fryer really that good??
As I'm watching this at 2:30 am cuddled in the exact barefoot dreams blanket from Nordstrom Rack!!!
my fav video you do every year
yes you can automatically upload every photo you take on your phone to google photos!! it's free
before she even mentioned the sweatshirt I was like woah wait a sec and checked last year’s video because I remembered her wearing it in that video too ! love u g💕😂
My worst was definitely sorority recruitment outfits cause i bought so many dress but it ended being online 😂

If you don’t use the air fryer look up recipes for or even TH-cam I have an air fryer and a ninja foodi it’s so good!
That ruggggggg!!!! What a scam
I hate Google Photos... I tried to use it and it was not intuitive. I will pay for iCloud storage again and again and again.
I love the air fryer , there's so many fried recipies you can do 😃 it'll change your life.
Worst purchase is all the going out tops I got for college
and didn’t wear
Everyone run to buy a simple human mirror. Had one for years and it's game changing! Get the 5x mirror for makeup use.
If you still have the Rug... I would love it - not sure where you are - I can pick it up you pay the shipping ❤️❤️❤️
QOTD Answer: a camera. I bought a camera that I thought would be mid range on Amazon and it’s terrible. I spent like $80 after shipping and everything and I’ve used it once

this terrible purchase really wasn't mine...but back in January my parents planned our family vacation to the Bahamas (which was supposed to be in June) and we still haven't gotten our money back!
When you said you had 73,500 photos I GASPED omg girl 😂
This is super helpful! My favorite thing is to just finish a final exam and then relax while watching your videos haha!
I’ve been debating getting the dyson lately and everyone seems to love it it’s just so expensive😭
Gretchen I think you are wearing the same sweater from the one last year
My worst purchase was a super expensive garmin exercise watch that I never use because I always forget to charge it & I use my phone on runs anyway to listen to music. Big waste of like $300 lol 🙄😅
love you Gretchen!! your uploads make my day xx
What about the dyson vacuum?
Omg that should’ve been on here!! SO good!
you didn't pay for the bike though.....
If you switch from an iphone to an Android (the Pixels are really good, much better than the iphones in so many ways anyways), Google photos backup is automatic.

Really enjoyed this! I have such a long list of things to buy when I have money one day 😂
Hi love!! Loved this video and love you!!! This vid was very echoey for me!! I have really sensitive ears (I can hear EVERYTHINGGGG) haha. Just wanted to let you know in case other ppl notice it too!!
