The salt pit is so unique and interesting. That region seems very different from other parts of Thailand too. Thank you @Mark Wiens for another perfect video filled with knowledge, nature, and culture bless up.
Thank you very much for Cam. I'm so glad that, even though the trading has changed (salt is available everywhere), they have been able to preserve this ancient tradition with tourism. Very cool!
I love how you show such deep appreciation for all of the places you visit. I especially enjoy how you take the time to highlight the beautiful histories and cultural practices of each town. I’ve learned so much from watching your videos.
I was here 3 months ago with my Thai gf and absolutely beautiful. I thought the mountains of Phetchabun was epic but Nan area is spectacular. Will definitely go back again .
I love your eating videos, but I definitely really enjoy watching these Mark Aboard videos. The different places you describe and the people and some of the healthy dishes of living off the land. I’m an old auntie and will never get to visit these places but through your videos. I also love watching your family, so happy and Micah growing up!
The history on salt there and how the place formed because of it ,Fantastic Mark 👍Yet again a noodle dish id eat in seconds and ask for more ..please 🤦♂️
Great video Mark.. Covid travel restrictions are helping you give that much needed attention to various parts of your country... Such a beautiful country... And we as tourist manage to visit just Bangkok, Pataya, Phuket, Krabi and kho sa mui...I am so happy to see the real Thailand... thank you for great entertainment. Please please give English subtitles for the conversations you and Ying have with the locals...that would make it all the more interesting Love from Mumbai, India

You Mark is my inspiration. Knowing my family traits that my gma came from Thailand and my gpa came from Cambodia. Back then he had to travel to Thailand to meet my grandma. When they met they moved to Cambodia and started a life there and had about 8 kids plus my mom. 1 didn’t make it on the way here due to the Khmer Rouge... My grandparents gotten so lucky and gotten sponsored! And can’t even believe my mom found the news article the day they came to America! So much to even say. You make me want to visit their old farms and family who is stuck in Thailand and in Cambodia.. my grandparents was the best cooks originally cooked from Cambodia and Thailand. But they have since passed.. Now my mom has all the ingredients to even pass down to me. I’m now third generation in my family to pass down the story, language and traits!
