      Resistance training, weightlifting, or high-intensity interval training are all great ways to help build more muscle!

    I was disappointed in some of the suggestions as you age that peole should not follow. I'm sorry to say. My dad just missed 97 & he lived on his own till the end. He was strong & stayed active till the start of turning 96. He took care of his yard & garden. Walked 3 blocks to get gas ⛽ for the mower vs driving. No high impact work at all in his history, no man made body parts added but not a weed in his yard. Try doing that! At 92 he broke his femur because he was standing on one leg putting on his shoe to go to church. He recovered very well. He lived in a ranch for 50 years & I was thankful when issues came up with the ease of moving around for both my parents. Sorry but a 3 family home is just wrong! I watch these videos to see what I might be missing but the only influencer who has all the boxes checked ✅ off correctly was my dad. Please be careful on your suggestions. I agree that staying active is key but not at high stress levels is not needed. Good luck! 🍀

    These comments saying you could do well on a plant based diet if done well is just bs, lacking courage to really say the reality that without meat it is impossible to thrive

    And seed oils… get rid of those. Don’t even grill/fry your ribeye in them.

    I saw an old woman today with guns twice the size of mine looking like Sara Connor from T2 . Seriously she put me to Shame I wouldn’t mess with her . She had very mature muscle . 💪
    You can tell she doesn’t play about her life I almost wanted to ask her what she’s eating . 🍽️

    Holy crap, the thing about adrenal stress before menopause. She is not kidding. I have been through massive amounts of trauma, for a loooong time. Relentless. There's a reason why wealthy women have an easier time staying lean, financial insecurity is one of the biggest causes of stress for people, especially in the U.S.
    I was fortunate that meno didn't start until I was 56 (I'm almost 60 now) but when my cycle stopped, after coasting for about a year with hormone decline it hit me like a freaking truck. Massive fatigue, insulin resistance through the roof, hot flashes....while my diet wasn't perfect, I got off alcohol almost 2 years ago and eat legumes daily (bean protocol) and walk a lot, occasionally weight train, it really is the stress. Sleep is horrible, so I quit coffee 2 weeks ago. The sugar is the last to go, though I go through many days in a row without it. It's the stress, more than anything. We can't change life circumstances but there are things we can do to mitigate emotional stress. Young women, I have to back up what she says: find a way to handle that stress before menopause. It's a nightmare if you don't.

      Thank you so much for sharing your story and opening up about your struggles Theresa. You are so right, we definitely have to find a way to deal with our stress before menopause begins. Our body will thank us for it in the long run!

    What was the test she indicated was a good one--can do it at home? It was around the conversation about fatty acids. There was a "wrinkle" in the audio and I didn't get it.

      Yes, definitely! Yoga is a great exercise to add to your daily walking routine. Strength training is extremely beneficial as well, and I would recommended doing it 2-3 times a week for 30-45 minutes.

    Totally agree with you. Been a vegan paleo banting keto n now a carnivore for almost 5 years. I'm 61, 5ft 1 and the gravity of the earth pulls me down to 46 kgs n looks 40 years old. Cac score is 0. Walk twice a day. Changed the lighting at home n office with full spectrum lights n use blue light blockers n worships the sun with my 3 little dogs. Breakfast is meat waffles with a sprinkle of glycine and lunch is beef fish or lamb. 2 meals a day. Dinner is glass of raw milk with magnesium glycinate which includes vit b

      Fasting gave me my life back
      I did a super charge I went keto / carnivore, joined the gym & incorporated fasting in the mix while managing stress & getting more sleep
      Quitting sugar was the KEY . All forms of it . Even fruit .

    What form of creatine is better, capsule or powder? Is there an exact form, such as Creapure trademark?

    • @drashleylucas
      @drashleylucas  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Cheryl! Capsule form works best if you are looking for convenience, yet they are not as rapidly absorbed into the blood as in powder form. Powder form is better for quick absorption, and capsule is better for convenience. Either method is beneficial, it just depends on what works best for you!

    Is a backpack as good as a weighted vest? If not whats a good weighted vest?

    • @drashleylucas
      @drashleylucas  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      A backpack will not distribute weight as evenly as a weighted vest. I would recommend seeing what your local sports store has to offer and start with the lowest weight and work your weight up with what you feel comfortable with. I hope this helps.

    Speaking health and nutrients I found for myself that I was using organic coconut daily for a few years which is antibacterial in nature that I seemed to have been developing issues. Sounds crazy right? I stopped for a couple of months found improvements then I added it back into my regime
