I have a ad200 pro and just ordered a flashpoint 600 , I normally rent a studio because I primarily shoot outdoors and sports but want to set up a home studio. Any advice for using a 200 and a 600?
I recently moved to wall & ceiling bounce with my dual 600s. I used a TV wall mount to mount them to the wall close to the ceiling. Opened a ton of space for my studio. Plus my walls and ceiling are white. I bounce so that it provides the perfect feathered light. For my first dog portrait i did 3 days ago, i took my AD200 and bounced off the client’s ceiling so that they didn’t get startled. Worked so well.
So glad to see Wiggles again! Thanks for the walkthrough, I also noticed the same thing with my transmitter for my speedlite and mostly have been using bounce flash for my photos when I need it because I hate dealing with the batteries. Do you have rechargable batteries you like for them? I feel like mine die far too quickly and I thought they were the problem
Hey Monique, just want to let you know that the link you have for this particular flash is showing that it's not available. I was just curious to see if I'd be able to fit this into my budget in the near future. I had a heck of a time with the communication between my Altura Speedlite and my Canon Rebel EOS T3i last week. I'm hoping to upgrade, if not my camera, at least my lighting. I did a headshot for LinkedIn session this past week; and I realized that I'm at least skilled enough to offer these simple sessions at a beginner's discounted price.
Thank you. That was brilliant. For someone who has been too afraid to even think about using lighting like that you made it simple and very easy to understand.

Love it! Great idea with the TV wall mount!

I do have rechargeable but they are getting old. I think they are Panasonic? Kind of a "pro" version. Def worth buying fresh and having several sets.

Oh no, thanks for letting me know! Here's a different link amzn.to/3P5hnPo I hope they keep the 600 around, it's a great flash. Maybe try ebay also?

I do have rechargeable batteries but they are getting older. Don't remember the brand.
Thanks for doing this Monique. I must get my Godox AD600 out ahain soon and play with it. This video should surely help.
Yes do!
Nice video. I have been using the ad600’s since 2017 and they have never failed me.
Awesome! Mine have really stood the test of time and use also.
Where did you find those nice heavy duty light stands on wheels?
