Amber wants to find something that proves a connection between Erica and Lance but isn't the fact that _they live in the same apartment complex_ suspicious enough?? 🤨
@NewYorkNick0607 Nah Nick, sharing the same apartment wouldn't prove much as it is probably the only low-rent sleazy apartment complex nearest to the Forrester's homes. 💰🫰
*Sheila's Love* Sheila skipping town so Erica can have a good life actually represents growth for her as a character. Despite being a villain, they've always made Sheila relatable by basing her motivations on love: her desire to be loved by a man and her desire for a child. Yet the way Sheila demonstrated love in the past was through obsession and possession. On Y&R she was obsessed with Scott and wanted to possess his baby with Lauren. And then on B&B she became obsessed with Eric and wanted to possess her baby with James to the point where she kidnapped the baby and became a fugitive just so she wouldn't have to be parted from her daughter. But now here she is making the decision to leave Erica (which is clearly difficult for her) because it's the only way Erica can have a life with the Forresters. Sheila is still a dangerous psychopath but her capacity to love someone - and to put their needs above her own - has evolved. The same Sheila that couldn't see that leaving her baby with Stephanie was best for the baby now sees that leaving Erica with the Forresters is what's best for her grown up daughter.
It’s such an interesting, ironic way of closing the circle for Sheila, so to speak. Before, she was ready to kill Stephanie to get her daughter away from the Forresters. Now, she is willing to voluntarily “hand her over,” so to speak, for Erica’s good.
The family seemed incredulous nobody has met Erica's mom. Well, first of all, why would they meet her mom. She's not going to bring her to work with her 😕 And secondly, those Forresters don't ever do any background checks on anybody they let into their homes.
How improbable that Amber didn’t run after the pot broke and made such a loud noise. Sheila, (the woman who just left) would have heard it and come right back which is what happened. The writers don’t even attempt to give Amber common sense or they are just lazy. Maybe both. 🤓
I get that Eric doesn't know about Brooke and Deacon, but has he forgotten the problems Bridget had with Brooke a year ago when Brooke was hot and heavy with Thorne? 0:41
I think the music cue at 16:30 was played for the first time in episode 1973 when Taylor sneaking around like Sheila. She escaped Morocco and snuck into the hospital to see Jack. Taylor didn't want anyone but her father to know that she's back in LA, albeit being presumed unalive. Sheila is in a similar position, only her daughter Erica is allowed to knows she's around. Sheila should've called Brooke's former classmate - Gladys
I made a comment before on this same issue that Sheila has as far as how to avoid meeting the forresters without being suspicious. Sheila originally wanted to stay in LA to help Erica to be with Ric and into his family and now that the forresters naturally want to meet her family she’s acting strange and is ready to abandon her child all over again. She had to have known Erica would want to know why you don’t want to meet them and then what are you gonna say? Wouldn’t it be smarter to not encourage a relationship and just keep Erica as the babysitter so they’d be less likely to want to know her family?
In this episode, we see that in her own way, Sheila really does love Erica. her grief at having to leave her daughter behind, so Erica can have the life Sheila will never have, seems genuine. And the interaction with Ziggy, where he said "thanks for... making things interesting around here", and she replied "yeah, that's what I do best" was quite poignant as well. It was as if Ziggy tried to find something positive to say about Sheila and faiIed, and Sheila herself acknowledged that he was right, and that all she knows how to do is to make things "interesting". I know that we are not supposed to, but at the end of the episode, where Amber is trying to get into the apartment and Sheila discovers her, I am actually rooting for Sheila. Sheila is just _that much better_ as a villain than Amber is as a heroine.
Absolutely! The trick to making Sheila relatable is making her motivations based on love. Before it was her desire to find romantic love with a man and now it's her maternal love for her daughter. It's also a stark comparison with Brooke who we recently saw was unable to make the kind of sacrifice for her daughter that Sheila is so willing to make her for hers. Brooke is just a Bad Girl, while Sheila is a full on Villain - we know that Brooke would never k i l l a man with bees but we also know Sheila would never get pregnant by her daughter's husband. It's an interesting set of moral values that each archetype lives by. It's like how Sheila was actually a good wife to Eric (and he was a terrible husband to her) despite the fact that she was also a dangerous psychopath.
I was rooting for Sheila too! 😂 @Nick.. I think what also makes me prefer Sheila to Brooke (or at least what makes Sheila more relatable), is that she actually pays a price for her crimes (bc I'm gonna call Brooke having an affair with her daughter's husband a full on crime).
Watching Amber in the recent episodes makes me wonder how she was ever able to con Rick and the Forrester family by passing Becky’s baby off as hers. She definitely doesn’t seem very cunning or shrewd. Where’s Tawny when you need her? 😂
Right? 😂 I wouldn't hire Amber to investigate the colour of the sky 😂 And I would have LOVED for Tawny to be the one trying to figure who is messing with Amber. A Tawny vs Sheila showdown would have made my day 😂
While I see why Sheila is leaving, I can’t help but think about how cruel this is to Erica. Sheila went to great lengths to keep James’ identify from Erica so she never knew her father. Now she’s going to leave so Erica will have no parents??
Only for her to destroy her daughter’s life completely by going to the Forresters with a 🔫 and unaliving Taylor smh the scene where Erica visits her in jail is also very disturbing.
It's so gingerish how a female coming in between a married couple just had to have red hair in the early 2000s. Erica and Morgan only had an age gap as a difference.

That would make too much sense... 😒
And near Zende’s school! 😂
A point she’ll make soon . . .although oddly she doesn’t seem to connect it with Ziggy.

Great observation about Sheila and her history.

Gorgeous Taylor has a beautiful tan or does it just seem that way next to translucent Amber?
Taylor in turquoise…stunning.
She looks gorgeous in turquoise
"Translucent Amber" 😂🤣
Not Amber trying to be sneaky, doing something criminal and digging herself deeper, rather than taking Taylor's advice!!! 🙄
Heavy breathing Brooke and her hypocrisy…..ughh🤮🤦♀️

Amber has Never been an intelligent character, only a second-rate schemer 🤣
At 1:45 would have been the perfect opportunity for Steph to respond “YOUR going to talk about someone’s behavior being intolerable??”
Exactly. Was perfect timing to clock ⏱️ that tea 🫖
I get that Eric doesn't know about Brooke and Deacon, but has he forgotten the problems Bridget had with Brooke a year ago when Brooke was hot and heavy with Thorne? 0:41
Taylor to Amber: “Please don’t do anything weird, and be careful.”
Amber: “Have we met?”

Gosh Taylor looks gorgeous in turquoise❤
Amber looks spectacularly drab next to her
both are pretty
I love turquoise .She does look nice with the earrings to match
By standing next to her, we can really see clearly, that Taylor outshines the mattress any day and any time!😂❤
Beauty Taylor and the Beast Brooke. 😊
There's no comparison. HT is one of the most beautiful women in the world. KKL isn't even the most beautiful woman in Brad's bed.

Erica's dress looks like something Amber or Eric Logan designed.

Ziggy is slowly replacing Mike Guthrie. He even got a kiss 14:00
Yes indeed!
Ziggy took his chance! 😂
@@TriniT21 And Sheila wasn't feeling it at all. 😆

Brooke judging Amber, really. Rick hasn't put with amber as nearly as much up like he, bridget and everyone else has to/did with Brookehoe.
