    That valved rear vent tube (06F-103-215-B) is meant to be paired with the Rev.-P PCV (06F-129-101-P). The other rear vent tube (06F-103-213-N), without the valve, is meant for the Rev.-R PCV (06F-129-101-R). However, tube 06F-103-215-B will work with both revisions of PCV. But tube 06F-103-213-N will only work with, and only be paired with, the Rev.-R PCV.

    Can anybody explain me the symptoms they were having that made them want to check this? I have a weird spark blowout/sputtering in full boost and new plugs, coils, wires didn’t fix it.. thinking it might be this.

      I am sure you realized this by now, but the symptom you mention sounds like a HPFP (High pressure Fuel Pump) Cam follower worn badly. I would be curious if you fixed what was causing it so I can sleep at night. LOL .

    what does it have different from the prev one? I've found a huge amount of oil reside on top of the black thing and I cleared it to inspect it later and see if the oil is pipe related or valve cover gasket

      My previous one doesn't have a checkvalve, but this one does. If you read the conversation created by Roh_Echt, there is another part that you also need to buy for this. My car has been driving fine as is with just the part that I have in the video. I use the factory PCV system (no catch can or bypass hose). I use the F23T turbocharger, and have no oil accumulation

    Hi tomorrow I will change the valve cover gasket and the little black pipe you show on the video. Question how hard is to pull away that pipe? Some people are tellin me thats is nearly impossible to remove. And that scares me more 🤣

    • @MatthewTaylor3
      @MatthewTaylor3  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That pipe required me to use about 4 thin plastic items to remove. I'll give you a better response shortly.

      @@qa5486 you are correct. I was just making life more difficult for myself in this video by taking the lazy approach

      @@qa5486 the annoying thing about removing the heat shield is that it takes a while to get it back in with lining up the bolts you mentioned.

    You were able to get the breather screwed back in with heat shield still installed?

    • @MatthewTaylor3
      @MatthewTaylor3  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I did. I recall it being a very tight fit. I had to use my left hand to do it. It felt very awkward.

    • @steveninverse9579

      @MatthewTaylor3 Did a turbo swap last year. Ended up having to pull the breather a couple times for various projects. Tried/failed every time to get it done without removing the heat shield. Total pain in the ass, I just remove the HS and save myself the frustration

    did this issue cause any smoke issues?

    • @MatthewTaylor3
      @MatthewTaylor3  ปีที่แล้ว

      The issue, yes.
      This happens when running above stock boost. The check valve fixes that

      Shopdap.com and ECSTuning are good places if you want it OEM for a little higher cost.

    Did you noticed any difference with the rear check valve compared to the non valve? Thanks for sharing :-)

    • @MatthewTaylor3
      @MatthewTaylor3  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, I noticed the difference when I upgraded to the F23T turbocharger as opposed to the factory K03. The difference is only noticable if you still have the stock front PCV installed as well, and not install a delete kit.
