◆【杏子/Kyoko】Profile=====
She debuted as the vocalist of BARBEE BOYS in 1984 with "Dance in the Dark".
In 1986, the band released the album "3rd.break", which marked the band's breakthrough and created an era of "J ROCK", but the BARBEE BOYS stopped performing after their performance at Shibuya Kokaido on January 24, 1992.
On August 1 of the same year, she released "DISTANCIA ~Kono Mune no Yakusoku~" and began her solo career.
In addition to music, she has been active in a wide range of genres, including DJ for radio programs, movie actoress, and stage actoress.
On April 28, 2021, she released full-length album "VIOLET" in about 8 years.
In 2022, she released a digital single "30minutes" to celebrate the 30th anniversary of her solo debut.
In 2023, her Acoustic Cover project on SNS gained popularity and continues to do so.
1984年「暗闇でダンス」でBARBEE BOYSとしてデビュー。
1986年にリリースしたアルバム『3rd.BREAK』でブレイクし、J ROCKの一時代を築いたが1992年1月24日の渋谷公会堂公演を最後にBARBEE BOYSの活動にピリオド打つ。
同年8月1日、「DISTANCIA～この胸の約束～」をリリースし、ソロとして活動を開始。
音楽だけでなく、ラジオ番組のパーソナリティや映画、舞台等、幅広いジャンルで活躍。
2021年4月28日に約8年ぶりとなるフルアルバム「VIOLET」をリリース。
2022年ソロデビュー30周年記念配信Single「30minutes」をリリース。
2023年、SNSでのCover弾き語り企画が好評を博し、現在も継続中。
