  • You would think these have all been discovered by now, but no, we recently found an amazing first-year Fender Stratocaster! For those unaware, the first year for the Strat is 1954, and this one is in wonderful condition for its age. Join Trevor and Ken on a journey across a small body of water to a Washington island town to pick up this incredible instrument, and meet not only the son of the original owner and masterful automotive and aerospace machinist Jeff Faris, but also the stunningly beautiful 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air he built from the frame up.

It's all gone now. Those days are history. Fender, Gibson, Rickenbacker; none of them make them like they use to. They all would like to recreate those days for revenue sake, but the materials and workmanship are gone. Everything America was admired for is gone, replaced by jokers like Elon Musk. America is a mere shell of itself.

Yeah, I agree. I currently own a Fender Custom Shop, and it's an AMAZING instrument! In fact, it's probably the finest electric guitar I have played. Much better than I remember a vintage Fender being. I think the custom shop are currently making instruments better now than the original 50s, 60s, and 70s guitars.
The idea that the vintage stuff is better is simply a myth.

That 54’ Stratocaster was simply amazing. I’m sure it was bittersweet parting with it, regardless of the offer, because of it’s connection to his beloved father. May it end up in a buyer’s hands, that cherishes it as much as his father once did.✨🎁
