OUTSTANDING! Your video captures everything including the resources & their locations to stock up on before or after adventures. Walmart, Target, gas stations, … I look forward to more of your videos.
This video is set to play at normal speed, except for at about the 43 minute mark, then it’s slowed to about 65% for the next 10 minutes or so. I believe there’s a good amount of camping available along the way, along with some world class off road trails as well. Thanks for watching!
This was a fabulous watch! I don't normally like music in scenic drive videos, but this music is perfect. Much like the space music I use to relax. I really enjoyed when you panned to the side to show those views. You placed them at the exact spots I was curious about. I'm hoping to make a trip there soon. Since I prefer exploring nature, this helped me decide this is a route I MUST see for myself! We have mountains in GA, but they are just rolling hills compared to the beauty in CO! Thanks for inspiring me to cure my wanderlust!!
Colorado and the west in general is on a whole different level for sure! Definitely more beautiful in real life, let us know what you think when you make the trip!
I agree that you could enhance your videos on such scenic locations with either a second camera set up to take an oblique angle (like 45 degrees right/left), or a reset of your current camera like you did in part of this one. That said, the wide aspect ratio and focal length you are using does a darn good job of documenting the view.
We can’t wait to go back and drive the Million Dollar Highway on some dual sport motorcycles and explore the trails in the area as well. Thanks for watching!
@@coina-dig-tion6322 We don’t have bikes yet, but looking at getting a couple small ones, maybe like a Kawasaki KLX300 or something plucky like that for fun in the desert and mountains and not terrible on the pavement. Let us know if you ever end up on the MDG on your dual sport!
When I can't be there to drive it myself, this is my favorite San Juan Skyway video. Excellent "fix" to watch or just chill with. I also appreciate and enjoy the 'scope aspect ratio. Your shot/framing is perfect. Excellent PQ does the scenery justice, too. I suspect you also have one that turns left at Ridgeway and takes us to Telluride. Music is surprisingly effective with it, too. Thanks for letting your camera just...roll. Ahhh....
So glad to hear you enjoy the drive, we try to get the best and smoothest quality video we can. We definitely prefer to just let the natural beauty of the area we’re filming in speak for itself and try to show the whole ride through. Thanks for watching!
Hi, I am going to be on this road next week. Due to the dangers of this roadway, I want to drive in the direction that will place me in the lane closest to the mountain most of the time. In other words, the passenger side has the mountain to their right. In your opinion would that be going north?
Yes, a lot of the time going north will place you on the side of the road that's away from the dropoffs. In this drive we're going north. For comparison, in this video we headed south on the highway to Durango: th-cam.com/video/n7DjGlgAUiI/w-d-xo.html Thanks for watching!
@@AdventureEveryDay I did it!!! I drove going south from Ouray to Durango...saw no scenery, only the road! One bitch of a drive! At least I am here to post about it!!! Thanks for the heads up on this.

Great video. Especially slowed down to 50%, this really lasted a long time. Great views. Gotta see if there is good campsites available out that way.

I have never seen such a beautiful place in America. When was it built? Hopefully someday I could visit it.
The Million Dollar Highway was completed in 1924. Hopefully you’ll get the chance to see it in person someday! Thanks for watching!

just drove it last week. My wife HATED it! I loved it and wished I had my motorcycle at the time.

@@AdventureEveryDay yeah! I have a dual sport Super Tenere and everytime a motorcycle passed me I'd say "you lucky suckers!"

Another great video! Looks like a fun road trip. I've never heard of the *"Million Dollar Highway".*
