      I don't think he is a great person, he is a lousy husband and boyfriend, go and read up what he did to Sondra Locke, his live in girlfriend of so many years. A serial womanizer even dating two or three women at the same time while married, he has four children out of wedlock, three from his two failed marriages and one adopted.
      Scott's mother had to sue him to get child support for the two children she had for him besides Scott and his sister were two of the four borne out of wedlock. He had them secretly while he was living with Sondra and at this same time he made Sondra have two abortions and tubal litigation so that she would not get pregnant again.
      So now do you still think he is great person?
      There are rumours that there might be more children out there.

    I went back and watched again. I love Clint Eastwood and his movies will live on forever. His acting and directing are phenomenal. Wonderful human being. So humble. I truly loved hearing Meryl Streep talk about him. She's one of my favorites and hearing what she had to say made me smile. Thank you for this documentary. 💗💗💗

    What a great documentary! If Clint or anyone who works with/for Clint sees this, please tell him I love him and his work! I wish when I used to do the Hearst Castle Best Buddies Challenge every year that I'd run into him in Carmel . . . but I never did. The wonderful work he's done in his 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s in a very agist country gives me hope. Thank you, Clint! 💖💖💖💖💖💖

    "My audience like to live vicariously through me as a winner, that isn't always popular with critics. My characters have sensitivity and vulnerabilities, but they're still winners. I don't pretend to understand loosers; when I read a script about a looser, I think of people in life who are loosers, and they seem to want it that way, it's a compulsive philosophy with them. Winners tell themselves: I'm as bright as the next person, I can do it, nothing can stop me."
    -- Clint Eastwood on choosing roles for himself.

  • @PugLifeJM
    @PugLifeJM 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Clint went from playing the most stereotypical male chauvinist and becoming a massive star because of it, to making movies such as The Unforgiven, were he deconstructs that persona in a much more realistic and less idolized take. In a single movie, he basically destroys the very thing that made him famous. Not to mention the social issues he tackles in the likes of Gran Torino. Meanwhile, many modern "stars" won't do movies or characters because "it could hurt their image". Clint Eastwood is not only a legendary actor and director, but he's also a legendary man and human being.

    Even though he is a legend, he is seriously under rated as a film maker and an artist.. He's name should be said quickly along side all the great film makers, but really isn't so much.. Sadly maybe after he's gone he'll be rightfully thought of as a genius by the collective culture.

      I disagree. His nominations. Awards. The critical reviews. His respect from his peers as shown here. And it’s been widely known for years that he’s been riding film scores since back in the day. He is an accomplished jazz musician and then went on to start doing film scores in general. He simply brilliant there’s just no other way to describe them. Legendary comes to mind. A great artist and a worldwide icon
