I remember back in 2016 watching TH-cam videos and being so jealous of the makeup collections and thinking I need to buy every new release just to keep up. So grateful for TH-camrs like you, cause you've really made me question my spending habits, so really appreciate the disclaimer at the start! Feel like I properly use the makeup I have now and appreciate it way more

remember that gal who was doing videos and worked in the industry? She was blonde, tattooed, and based on San Fran? Oh wait found her: Stephanie Nicole. She was great at talking about behind the scenes.
I thought private label was basically like what Diamond cosmetics did: made polish for brands like ella and mila.
So the factories aren’t specific, but a brand goes to them and picks out products.
If you read Peter Hessler’s second book he speaks on how factories freely “borrow” designs and thus you have aliexpress, temu, and adverts for $3 parkas.
I can imagine any brush or palette out of a Chinese factory is basically private label. I guess that’s different from directly contracted for one specific brand. I am sure the factories (common in the nail polish world) do stuff for multiple brands. To stand alone you have to do a large reach in the market. Even Forsyth (color club) did Calvin Klein.
Declutter videos are so beneficial! Seeing stuff that is on my wishlist being decluttered because there is better makes me not want to spend money on it anymore. The true savings events💖💵

i really like that you give input even on the items you declutter! because yes, it didn't work for you but it might for others. i've been thinking about getting into bronzer recently because i never really did and ofc i don't have much variety in blush colors so this video is especially helpful. thanks angie as always for the good content and work you put into what you do ❤

No idea, something happened right after she got the red panda palette in pr and she was going to review it but then didn't. 🤔
I like going through my makeup with the intent of getting rid of stuff and finding things I forgot I had and loved using, its like getting something new again!

Blushes are sone of my favorite declutter videos. They are so easy to accumulate but so hard to get rid of! I don't know if I've ever decluttered a powder blush lol 😬
This would be my reminder to declutter :) I can't say enough about the Rare Beauty bronzer sticks. Kosas, I just have no idea why every product smells bad. I also love that Ricardo keeps editing this for you every year :).

The Blonzer in Kiss of Pink is one of my all-time faves. I'm tempted to get Kiss of Copper or the peachy highlighting blush.
I’ve had issues with smelly product after a short period of time (a few months) with kosas, merit and tower 28. Not purchasing again
I got the Fenty shimmer bronzer 50% off and NOT BROKEN! It feels like I'm the only one haha

The Maybelline City bronzer in shade 200 is similar to the fenty one you love from what I can tell, I bet you would like it!
ALL my makeup got stolen a couple months ago. That was a huge declutter i suppose. They left me nothing.😢

I too have way too many blushes and eyeshadows and mostly because they are so pretty when I swatch them, I just can’t let them go! Declutter videos aren't usually my favorite videos to watch but while this was a longer video I loved how you just flew through all of the products and I was able to sit and watch it all the way through. I'm new to using cream products. I just really started using them a little bit this year. I'm not a big face palette user either.

I keep everything until it expires 😂 I should say, until it smells or looks expired. I don’t have anyone who wears makeup like I do. I’m a clown and they’re neutral eyeshadow. I only have one neutral eyeshadow palette. The rest are “clown eyeshadows” 🤣😂

I swear declutter videos are the best review videos ever! Like, some products might have performed good when there were no alternatives, but compared to other stuff they're not doing their job as expected. I thankfully am keeping a manageable collection since like 2020-2021 so I'm only decluttering stuff that maybe went funky on me, but I'm living for these long videos.

I love the melt highlighter in genesis as a blush! How does the saie glow sculpt formula compare to the nabla skin glazing formula? I feel like the way you described the saie blush, sounds like the nabla formula. I really want to try the iconic london blush formula.
I remember when you did the Glamshop-Poland Swietlowka highlighter palette review- the older version of the palette because I checked their website & now they’ve got a mini version of it with 3 shades … ( along with other palettes from the brand ) I didn’t see it in this declutter video …( do you still own this palette?/ any singles/ any eyeshadow palettes from this brand anymore ?) & Glamshop Swietlowka highlighter palette reminded me a bit of the Glamlite Rick & Morty Highlighter Palette ( which I haven’t been able to get because they don’t offer it on their website & I haven’t seen it at Tjmaxx/Marshall’s either … but i was hoping if you or someone in the comments knows if they’re basically the same thing ( because I wasn’t able to buy the Glamlite highlighter palette since it was no longer sold …)

Best videos of the year. If I would use more bronzer this video would be a gold mine to find the best ones 😅 anyone knows a good bronzer for veeery light (pale) skin which isn't to warm but also not a contour? So hard to find.
(I use mousse makeup one shade darker than myself as bronzer. That way it's not too dark or too orange)
I hated the kosas bronzer I brought, it just did not show up on my skin and I'm really pale. There was just no payoff.

It seemed like brushes were all the rage this year. I didn't realize until watching your video how many launches happened. I'd use them to paint if I had a quarter of that. 😂
I bought quite a few blushes this year also, I have very few bronzers. I quit buying highlights unless I get rid of one because I live swatching them but havent been using them much
I try and declutter face palettes and then start using them all again! I don't have many blush singles and only 4 bronzers.
