i was in spain in 2018, went to granada and was amazed to see how proudly they display churches which were taken by muslims and converted into mosques only to be converted again into churches by the crusaders. Meanwhile in India we cant even talk about it without being called bhakts.

Near 28:00 ma'am told about how religious leaders from different parts like Telangana, Orissa, etc. came to Mathura because there was always a concept of Bharatvarsh.
And now these so called politicians are joining hands with the Crooked Man Rahul Gandhi saying "India is a union of states"
Bharat was always 1 and will always remain 1.
Congress succeeded once in partition, but won't be able to do it again.

It will be heart wrenching for any devout Hindu to know that these two grand shrines srirangam and Meenakshi temples remained shut for decades after Malik kafur invasion, until the vijayanagar queen Gangadevi having heard the story, personally led an army to free these towns from Islamist rulers and restored these temples, as chronicled by this highly accomplished queen in her literary work Maduravijayam.
We are indeed blessed to have people of courage and integrity as our forefathers , else our holy land would have gone the Iran , Egypt way in the hands of barbarians. As mark of respect atleast every hindu should atleast instil pride in our culture among his family and children.

    • @lookintoit4537
      @lookintoit4537 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

You completely ignored the fact that the barbarian invasions were successful because many of our rajas were weak. We are a feel-good society that never reflects on our mistakes.
Taking pride in the achievements is not bad, but analysing the mistakes is way more important to avoid repetation.

I visited the sahastrabahu temple outside Gwalior fort in 2014. That was my first encounter with broken idols and abandoned temples due to barbarians. I was 14 YO then, I had no understanding of politics. To say the least I was a left conforming liberal. Yet my first reaction was "they did THIS to our temples". I was devasted as a kid. Obviously the temple was stunning even after all it has gone through.

My family's diety in Thoravi, Bijapur. The entire temple structure looks like a mosque with no idols when entered, but the worship of the deity happens under the ground. There's a small passage like a cave in a room that was once used as a storage room. The passage itself can be closed if needed.
Now I am not sure why it was done so, coz there are two stories, one that the temple needed monetary support from the Islamic king, hence the priests disguised the temple as a mosque to receive the grant. The Islamic king was impressed and supported it financially. The second is that the temple was disguised as a mosque to prevent the Islamic ruler from destroying it, while idol worship happened under the ground.
There's also a story that the idol itself was unearthed after the diety ordered so in a dream.
I am not sure about the stories, but if someone could do more research, here's one such example.

From listening to Dr. Jain, it dawned on me that our ancestors could not fully comprehend the reasons behind Islamic wanton destruction because it is so contrary to human thought, decency and progress.
Unfortunately, nothing has changed as we see Muslims defend the case for the Gyanvapi structure knowing full well that the structure was built on a demolished temple. You CANNOT wake up a person who is pretending to be asleep
The solution begins with all of us identifying the problem. There never was, and can never be any Ganga-Jamuna sentiment. Know the enemy because they definitely know you, while you blather on about secularism and bhai-chaaraa nonsense. They are out to destroy you. Destroy them first

Brilliant episode. One comment on 53:30. The British should be understood in the context of Protestant Christianity morphing (eventually "secularizing") into capitalism. In other words, the Catholic and Islamic expansions are much more strongly based on theology (for instance Spanish destruction of native Mesoamerican temples are probably worst than Islamic destruction of local idols), whereas the Protestants had a "renewed" version of Christianity, and the focus was much more on civilizing Indians in the economic and political sense.

Breaking of Idols is one of the greatest deed a Muslim could do.. Being Buutshikan is a badge of honor in Islam.. In India if an individual ruler may have desecrated temple of other sects it was an individual act by an evil ruler not a general sanction of Hinduism, Jainism or Bhudhism.

The humongous efforts taken by Meenakshiji and other authors in researching our history, the scarifices and struggles of our ancestors in those demonic times are invaluable and historic themselves. All generations pastand present and future will forever be indebted to all such authors who spent their time and energy in researching and uncovering our demolished and desecrated past and presenting the truth in it's full glory to us. It's an immensely great service to our ancestors who scarificed their lives protecting their Dharm. Though not by name, we are remembering them, their struggles and sacrifices and their souls must be getting some peace now after centuries. Is it possible for you to have an episode on Dharmic heritage of Pakistan, both ancient and medieval and what happened to it? Why do we not come across stories of magnificent temples in Pakistan destroyed by invaders? Did they never exist or have we forgotten that part of our history so thoroughly that Gandhara now seems to be a foreign land?

  • @pramod_p5

when Pulakeshi and Harshavardhana fought and formed a treaty, they assumed the titles of Dakshinapatheshwara and Uthara Patheshwara. Meaning the rulers of Dakshina Patha, and Uthara Patha. Both were roads connecting India. They could have easily changed its name to something else, I mean they were kings who had conquered half of India each after all. Dravida Nadu Patha and Aryavartha Patha probably, and even assume the titles as such. But they followed the tradition, and culture, of Bharatha respecting it and keeping the title accordingly.
And if you think that "oh, that's because they were established norms, and they just followed it for easy recollection of their names and titles", then why did Islamic rulers change the names of every city and road they conquered? Were they that foolish, to not spread their title and conquests across?

the thing is this is not just history, but the contemporary thinking as well against Hindus and Hinduism reinforced many times over by "modernity", as well as the post 1947 constitutional order, at least the way it has been implemented. the former manifests itself in the form of virtue signalling, the latter by the concept of "majority" and "minority", that minorities have to be protected from the majority i.e. muslims and Christians have to be protected from Hindus, when in fact it is the muslims and christians who have been doing all the attacking and vandalism and continue to do so even today. Also infinitely reinforced by the centralized power vested in the Indian State, which has taken over all aspects of our life, and is determined that it is "not Hindu". Not one of the numerous instances of resistance offered by Hindus was the outcome of any Central sanctions or permission. what would happened if they had had to take such permissions?
