Very intelligent talk! İ watched this video one day before joining the online meeting of the 14 August and found it extremely helpful. However, I am not sure if I would be available for the meeting due to some emergency. İ have a very important question: I'm training my ten year old boy for offering prayers . İ gradually made up his mind by developing love for Allah and our obligations etc. He started happily. Yesterday for Isha prayer i asked him to get ready for prayer and wind up his fun activities. He suddenly got upset and said: I am not Momin. Actually i have told him the concept of being a Momin and that offering prayers is obligatory for the Momin/ Muslims. He didn't want to offer prayer and found this logic! I was shocked! All night i couldn't sleep.
But yes, easy life style and attractions can confuse our children and perhaps those who live abroad.
I think this topic should be discussed thoroughly. We want to learn how to keep children steady on the right path in this world of confusions and attractions. Especially when children are living only with parents abroad. They don't have opportunity to enjoy and learn from grandparents and other family members.
I request for ERDC expert opinion on this issue. Thank you
