Pero may iba rin namang nangangarap ng matangos na ilong na hindi ito na-achieve kahit matapos magparetoke. Panoorin ang video.

It's not us who is ugly, It's the unrealistic "beauty standards" . Eliminate the "standards" problem solve.
then who created these beauty standards then? why does everyone, including you, follow it? everyone has the right to alter their body however they want, and you cant eliminate something you dont even want to eliminate. we were created this way, and theres no way ppl and/or the society would see someone that they think is ugly as beautiful just because we try to "eliminate" it. poor looking facial gestures and parts is actually a thing, and theres no such thing as equality as with many other different things.
You can't eliminate beauty standards. Nag eevolve din yan. Dating panahon iba pa yung beauty standards, ngayon ganito na. Wala tayong magagawa dyan, go with the flow tayo dapat. Ganun naman talaga dapat. We cannot stay by the same rules and ideology in the long run. Lahat nagbabago and we are supposed to catch up with it. Kung gusto nila magpa retoke, go. Kung hindi mo trip, chill ka lng. Ganun lang yun.
It's people who set standards, people who are setting judgements based on their wrong beliefs to control the minds of everyone who lacks faith to believe that those standards should be met. It's about clearly losing faith and believing that the true standard that we should meet is about beauty of the heart and not the physical beauty that needs to be improved to be fit. Try to look on those who want to change just to fit on stardards, it's about beating insecurities and seeking attention and fame. The best weapon that you should always bear is the faith on true humanity and self esteem breaking those standards and believe on your own self that you dont have to prove to anyone that you are better when you are physically changed.

If you're insecure enough to make the changes in your physical appearance, it's your choice and it shouldn't be an issue. If you're contented with your body with a flashing self esteem then good for you. But people who take the "retoke" aren't all insecure maybe. Trip lng talaga nila and it's all good. As soon as human had civilizations and art, beauty standards were born. The aesthetics of face, form and physique came into play.

We are created equal and instruments for a purpose of who we are and what we are, we do not question ourselves y we r created like this and that if you are a true believer. These beauty standards are created to take away from you your strong faith and contentment. If you dont have the physical beauty it doesnt mean you are incapacitated in everything instead it's a sign for you to look up on your other strengths. Everyone is created precious and worthy, it's not all about proving your worth just bcoz your face and body is altered at the end of the day it's your worth matters not your face matters.

People just don't see the bigger problem here. It's so crazy how everyone here is commending this but don't talk about how this creates cognitive distortions among people especially the younger ones. For sure, a lot of teens are now already nitpicking themselves and are calming themselves down by thinking of getting plastic surgeries in the near future instead of spending their energy to nurture the beauty they already have. Don't you see the trend here? Influencers are starting to get rhinoplasty one by one. Do you really expect your viewers to feel more confident themselves seeing their "idols" change themselve to a specific beauty standard (getting a pointed nose)? This really makes me feel sad because a lot of people of are being unwittingly subjected to the colonial mentality that having pointy nose is more beautiful (proliferated by colonizers btw). The excessive use of whitening products are also a manifestation of colonial mentality. Many are talking about "following what makes them happy" a.ka. "go get a plastic surgery" but rarely do they talk about the collective colonial mentality that we have yet to dismantle and the empowerment of our own inherent physical characteristics.
The Fact all of those words you say is true, it's just really sad that we had this mentality even today, I'm not judging someone because their going through knives and pain to be beautiful, I'm angry and worried about our judgemental society because no Man was born ugly, and this mentality is still practiced in the past and until today..

Mika is already pretty before the surgery but if she'll gain more confidence by changing what mother Nature gave her, why not? Though of course it's important that you don't have unrealistic expectations ("make me look like Barbie" or the like) and you don't have psychiatric issues where no amount of surgery satisfies you. There are many cases of the latter and they end up looking like freaks, especially when doctors start refusing them and they resort to doing stuff on themselves like injecting fillers or substances.
When I was just a medical student a plastic surgeon told us that they always assess that what their patients want is reasonable, and that they are wary of people that might have mental or psychiatric issues driving their need for plastic surgery. Pogay gives off alarm bells, with the way that he's always unsatisfied with his surgery. I'm not surprised that some doctors started to refuse him because if I was a plastic surgeon I'd refuse him too.

What I think is naging trend lang siya and you know how people are so addictive following the trend. Anyway, it is their body but we need also to remind everyone that hindi mahalaga kung ano tingin nila sayo as long as ikaw mismo tanggap mo sarili mo pero it is still your decision, bahala ka kung ano ikakasaya ng puso mo. I've always wanted to do this, but due to religious beliefs in acceptance and loving yourself, it held me back to just be happy with it. But i'll be always reminded that these things exist for me to try one day, but with the right doctors din.

More and more people these days sobrang insecure, unhappy, dissatisfied s physical appearance nla. It’s a mental health issue that people need to work on not their physical appearance. Imagine going under the knife and you still use filter n all your photos. Insecurity goes out of hand. We should practice learning to accept and love ourselves for what we really are naturally. #SelfAcceptance #SelfLove We should instill this in today’s youth.

Plastic surgery should not be a big deal. If you are insecure about something, if you are not satisfied with the way you look, and you can afford to pay then it is not wrong to change. Sa mga nag sasabing, not thankful sa binigay ng Diyos, backhanded compliments, easy target sa marketing ng plastic surgery, fyi, normal po ang plastic surgery especially if example, may certain medical condition ka or may need ipabago or ipaextract sa katawan mo. Sa thailand, china, and korea, normal lang ang plastic surgery. Ang problema kasi rito sa pilipinas, iniiral ang pagka pakealamera, pagka “makadiyos”, at godlike standards. Magalit kayo sa kanila kung tinapakan kayo pero kung ang ginawa nila is mapasaya ang kanilang sarili tapos galit kayo sa kanila, kayo ang problema hindi ang nag pa retoke. Nawa’y mawala na ang utak talangka ng ibang pilipino.
