Keep up the good work. You are a clearly a character who can make very engaging videos on what could be seen as a niche interest. I think a media career beckons. 👍🧐
The Volvo B7TL From Bradford have done all they can it’s sad to see them go I hope they go somewhere else to be used! :) I wish 32450 and 32460 Would came back to Leeds!
I got on a Yorkshire tiger opiate solo on the 21 to Pellon YJ62 FBL (202) and I must say the seats on some of the comfiest seats I have ever sat on, very comfy!
Shame that the B7 Geminis are leaving Bradford but at least they are moving somewhere else instead of withdrawal, just wondering what will happen to the ALX400s? Would be nice to see you do a video in Leicester for our soon to be withdrawn DAF DB250 Wright Pulsar Geminis that are being withdrawn in the next two years
The last 3 ALX400s in Braford (June 2021) are now no longer taxed so they are definitely not on road an more. The last 3 were [31137 YU52 VYN], [31138 YU52 VYO] and [32077 KP51 WBD] Huddersfield is still using the ALX400's on some on public routes at moment. BTW First Suffolk has a nice collection of ALX400's if you are interested.
@@steady_94 Yeah, but those don't usually serve the 49/50/50A. It's misallocations that these B7TLs occasionally stray on these routes as they usually serve 40/19/19A.
Can you do a video on: Farewell Leeds final B7TL Buses | First Leeds. Most of the Volvo B7TLs of Leeds have already been transferred or scrapped as the StreetDecks. The 2004 Volvo B7TLs was supposed to be scrapped, however the guided bus way kept them a little longer. Recently, the plans changed and by September 2022, all of the Volvo B7TLs and the Volvo B7RLEs (with a D7C engine) would be expected to be fully gone and scrapped.
Halifax will probably get rid of them fast but Huddersfield will have them for a while. Most of Halifax's B7s: 32525-32527, 32530-32532, 32539, 32540, 37053, 37054, 37060-37062 either went to Essex or Cornwall. First Halifax has dumped all the old B7TLs to Schools. I think Geminis 31790/1, 32520-32524 and 32528 will go in summer with the last of the ALX 400s as well which will allow more B7s to schools.
According to some people it is no longer Spring but I still think Summer starts on 21st June. I have looked again to see when the CAZ starts and still no firm date yet. I travelled to Holmewood many decades ago on 680 so seems strange that it is now routed northwards to Bingley. A very informative video like usual especially about the guided bus lane which I totally overlooked.
Low emission zone in Bradford that’s why Leeds was due to get one as well but It was cancelled I wouldn’t be surprised if Leeds do order another batch of StreetDecks to replace the B7TLs.
Leeds has kept the 04 plates B7TLs as they have guidewheels as well as the B7RLEs, B5LHs and some B9TLs. I don't think that guidewheels can be fitted on the StreetDecks at the moment.
@@n0rthernbuses Not aware of that happening, but as far as I am concerned, the 04 plate B7TLs transferred from Leeds to Huddersfield when more StreetDecks arrived in 2019.
Yh they should get new buses for Halifax and Huddersfield instead of getting cascades vehicles from Leeds and Bradford the b7tl and older B7rle won’t be around for next few years and some of them have broken fan on them what very hard to fix can’t even afford to get new ones cause they are older vehicles
@@southyorkshirebuses5176 The only reason why Bradford got new buses is because of the Clean Air Zone probably starting soon. It Invested £8.1 million with extra funding from city council. It may even have helped them gain the City of Culture bid for 2025 which was announced yesterday. I expect more cascades to come as Bradford will soon get its new StreetlLtes.

The ALX400 B7TLs in Huddersfield and Halifax will likely be withdrawn as the Gemini B7TLs will cascade from Bradford.
Fortunately at First Leeds we still have a few B7TLs out and about. They’re usually on the 40/50/50A/49/19/19A which I think is a good thing.
The ones that serve route 49/50/50A has been transferred to Huddersfield a couple of years ago.
@@NewLERoyUser Still have the odd one on 49/50s

Alot of these alx 400's that will be replaced, will mainly be sold although i'd expect quite a few to be transferred too
the above is referring to 24:38
So Bradford won't be running 06 plate B7s yet Leeds still has 04 plate B7 Geminis? I find that rather strange!

If im correct, the 04 geminis at leeds are going to the halifax school fleet in the summer

32450 is at Halifax.
Yes but it was based in Bradford
Some of these has gone to the mile Cross depot in norwich
Since Bradford have introduced the clean air zone, I’m guessing buses used on 576 route will be b9’s etc
And E400s
I got on 32529 yesterday to Halifax and 2 hours later back to Bradford, I believe this will probably stop once all Bradford B7’s have gone.
Does this mean transdev will stop running b7tl on the 67 and airline
4:00 you saw my fav bus
Will you do any videos in the Newcastle-upon-Tyne any time soon?
Hey Alex. Are there any ex Olive Grove Depot Sheffield B7TLs still around? I’ve been looking for them.
Hello And more, when Devon County Council gets more mini buses I will let you know!
As expected the start of Bradford's CAZ operation has been delayed until 26th September 2022 at the earliest.
Now it's basically just 32697
There are a few 370s with it that are B7s.
It will be like leeds now leedscity now it's city of bradford
There are already 4 vehicles in Bradford repainted.
They are still here..
Not in Bradford as the title states...
@And More Central oh sorry my bad
Wish first will just buy new vehicles for the entire fleet no matter of location instead of giving Halifax and Huddersfield there old buses
