You're awesome dude. What you do and how you do it is top notch and I commend you for your effort. I had to say that, but really, thank you for your videos. They are entertaining and educational!
The Intracoastal Waterway is a man-made channel stretching from Norfolk, Virginia, to Miami, Florida. The waterway is maintained by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Although it was originally constructed for barge traffic, today, the waterway is primarily used by recreational boaters. #TheMoreYouKnow
Thanks. I have played here multiple times. You made this course look easy. Thanks for the tips and playing on a course we regulars play. I love true blue and tpc in myrtle as well. And wizard
The grande dunes is definitely one of my favorite course here grew up born and raised here so just a different pride seeing these great content creators always coming now!!
Renovations actually completed late last summer. I live about a half mile away, near the beach, and will say that the Grande Dunes Resort Course (there is another Nick Price designed Members Only course) rivals any course in the area. I think actual memberships are limited to those who own houses/condos within the resort area, and at a time early in development, they listed the yearly dues for FULL Membership at $18,000/year. Ouch! You won't find THAT info on the website anymore. When I play there, I use one of the local area discount card programs that exist for local residents.
Not the best in the MB area, but definitely a top 10 course. You really need to go down to Pawleys Island and play Caledonia, Pawleys, True Blue. Only about a 30 min drive from GD.
I played it and it was great. For shear beauty you can't beat Caldonia. Tru blue is a test and Tidewater is fantastic. I have to say The Dunes (semi private) was the best course. Huge alligator on 13.
Great review of the course. Absolutely love the flyover tech that you are using. Drove over from Greenville, SC to play this course. Thank you for the recommendation.
As explained to me by a true golfer a "links style course" is one where the green can be reached from the fairway by running the ball on the ground with no bunkers directly in front of the greens. Usually where there is lots of wind and keeping it low is necessary. Sounded reasonable. Might be true.
Then term links is defined as a course that is built on natural land between the town and the sea not generally considered good enough to be built on.Thus land that 'links' the town to the sea
Ok,... something special.. I do know you you did that, but it's the first time I'd seen that ever done before. Nice work! If the PGA did that it would make TV viewing much more fun. I'm sure the 'special' people out there would complain about the noise... Rahm... Woods... :) I've been watching ya for a long long time. you hapen to do a lot of reviews on courses that I need prep work on tournaments for... thanks for you hard work to make golf informative, interesting, and entertaining. you put together a good channel.
Absolutely love your videos! Informational, but also VERY entertaining.. you should consider show business if golf doesn’t work for you anymore! Meanwhile, consider doing a review on the Pinehills Golf Club in Massachusetts.. best public course in New England!
@@MrShortGame most drones you can change how sensitive the sticks are on your controller. The "rates" are the curve that each stick on your controller follows from 0 input to 100. You should try to play around with those so the controls are less sensitive. Depending on what drone you have I can help, I used to fly fpv. Love your channel.
I played Grande Dunes on a weeklong golf trip to Myrtle Beach three years ago. My only memory of the course is being totally pissed off for 18 holes because of how much we were paying to play a course that was in total shit condition, especially the greens. They were absolutely terrible, and the people that run the course should’ve been embarrassed not to have been giving money back to us. To make matters worse, that was the last round of the trip so I left MB with a sour taste in my mouth. I understand they did some renovations to address those issues, but there is no way in the world they should’ve been charging full price for a round of golf back then, so I’ll never go back there again.
I’ve played there once, we had a group of 12 guys that played. The staff there treated us like we were criminals instead of customers. Will not go back.
Following the ball with the drone is so hard to do but I really enjoy it. Well done Sky.
Loved the drone stuff well done
Those drone shots are incredible!

Great course! Play it every time I'm in MB! Excellent review.

I really dig the drone shots following the ball. So cool. Wish PGA tour did this as well
I like that funkytown music when you played holes 14-18, and topsy swervy with the drone camera footage, far out!
The grande dunes is definitely one of my favorite course here grew up born and raised here so just a different pride seeing these great content creators always coming now!!
Love your content and how you deliver it. It seems to me that you were only moderately awed by Grande Dunes.😅
You should look at Kinderlou golf course in Valdosta, GA. Played there with some friends and it was pure.
Love the creativity in this vid, drone shots are dope
Camera and drone work really incredible in this video. GGs
These drone shots are insane!! Awesome stuff
Love the aerial tracer! Great video!
Drone shots were awesome! Well done!

Great video. Grande Dunes is one of the must play courses. Many to play in Myrtle Beach. Tidewater is a great place to play as well.
Drone shots look cool, wish they do that on the pro tour broadcasts.

Fantastic drone video Matt!!! Great looking course
TimmyinMB….I’m very lucky to play here regularly. Such a fun course with some challenging holes. #14 is tough when the wind is whipping. Great video.
I work here and love this course. This was awesome to see!
U R the best at reviewing courses! Really enjoy your stuff! Makes me want to be there! You seem like a real down to earth guy!
Another great review. Looking forward to the Public Course Edition.
We go to myrtle every year with the family. Usually play twice that week. Need to put this one on the list.
Great video gents! Amazing shots Mr Drone Pilot!
Drone moves were awesome. Review was top notch also. Cart/club house review needed!
The drone views circling the ball is amazing. I hope you did purchase the whiskey barrel cup. That was definitely a keeper cup
Great course! Golf capital of the world! Can’t way to see them have a tour event next year 😊
What a nice track at a nice place
I need to put the Dunes on my list. My favorite is the TPC, then Barefoot Love, then Tidewater, then Glen Dornoch. I'm a member at Long Bay
Great review of the course. Absolutely love the flyover tech that you are using.
Drove over from Greenville, SC to play this course. Thank you for the recommendation.
Very nice work on with the new visuals
Love the drone and ball together!

Definitely checking this track out next time I’m down in MB. Tidewater is currently my favorite - highly recommend checking it out!
Played the grand dunes several times. It’s great. Also best course if myrtle beach gets a lot of rain because it drains well.
as a myrtle beach local love this course
Just played there a week before you. Greens were still healing from a late aeration this summer. But otherwise real fun track.

Just played their this past week. Real nice course.
Digging the drone footage and tunes lol…..
Those drone shots are silly cool
DOPE! Great gift for any subscriber!! 😉
My side hurts from laughing so hard at the ending! Great line referencing a TH-camr with a giant following! 😂
Drone footage was bad ass!
Absolutely love your videos! Informational, but also VERY entertaining.. you should consider show business if golf doesn’t work for you anymore! Meanwhile, consider doing a review on the Pinehills Golf Club in Massachusetts.. best public course in New England!
Myrtle Beach is a great golf destination. Just play in the morning
🔥🔥🔥
The whiskey barrel is dope. I hope I can play a round next year on vacation!
Gotta check out the members club behind the resort course
Super awesome , and even better because of the flying circle around the ball !! Which ball do you play that does that?
Thanks, I will be playing there in late Sept 2024
Your game is looking good. Thought about entering any big tournaments?
You were throwing darts. That looked fun
Go play Caledonia. Such a beautiful laid back course.
Nice Drone Work Sky. Also what happened to Golf Cart Review 😂😂
You forgot the cart review? Always look forward to those.
MSG RULZ!!
Good stuff thanks
What’s the 3 wood cover
playing Grande Dunes on Monday.
The red circle thing is the greatest.
Isn't that Tifeagle that has been around for quite some time?
Looks like a very nice Course.
Loved the joke at the end! 😂
I'm loving those shoes, Matt. What are they?
I need the practice plan
Is it the member's course or the resort course?
Anytime I only have 10-15 minutes to warm up, I only chip and putt. Seems to work great.
Play Glen Dornoch!!
Love us some Dirty Myrtle golf!
How much time do you allow to warm-up / practice? BTW, the drone footage with ball tracking was awesome!
Usually 1 hour
Change the rates on your drone to smooth out that following footage and it would be pro quality
rates???

I’ll pass that along to my drone guy. Appreciate that.
@@MrShortGame he seemed like an excellent pilot, hopefully we get more footage like that in future videos. Keep up the good work.
Number 8 stall underrated
worked here for awhile. go check out the legends courses next time ur in myrte beach, very beautiful in my opinion a lot better than the grande dunes.
That is not links style lol

No sir! Tidewater, Dunes Resort, Caledonia, Pines Lake, Dye and Norman course at the Barefoot Resort are just as nice.
I’ve played there once, we had a group of 12 guys that played. The staff there treated us like we were criminals instead of customers. Will not go back.
probably bc you brought 12 guys😂 at most courses they do not allow more than 4 people to a group it slows pace of play down for everyone
Maybe but not better than Tidewater GC in North Myrtle Beach. It’s the pebble beach of the east coast.
What? No coffee review? 😂
A nice course, but way too expensive, 85 bucks for primetime members, catering to the tourists. Our group refuses to play there. oh well
they forgot the golf cart review 😩
Punched greens is a huge problem and probably why it’s empty
Him: You want to hit your 54 wedge and skip the 50
Me: I got my clubs at Target
Knew it was going to be the dunes lol, its just a rich people course
Why really did Grant and Morris stop making videos.? Was it because Grant wanted to hook up with the Byran Brothers
Its an ok course but several better down south
dye club is better
Myrtle gets a bad reputation. Great golf destination
Hi add watching reward
Obviously you didn't sink every putt, so lots of extra putts and editing. But who cares? Nice video as usual.
Why so many pro tip and golf instructions? It was labeled as review….
I liked The Dunes Club better
Caledonia > Grande Dunes
