Hi there. Thanks for your comment. As far as I know for english language movies (for adults), these will have dutch sub-titles and not be dubbed. However there may be the odd exception, so it's best to check with the cinema to be 100% sure.
The standard soundtrack in movies, tv-series and news items in The Netherlands is... the original soundtrack with Dutch subtitles. There are exceptions as everywhere. The average Dutch person speaks a few languages.. and original soundtracks are very helpful learning languages. Most Dutch people speak a good level of English. Have fun and I love Tuschinski bioscoop as we call a move theatre here. My wife is from Amsterdam and we visited Tuschinski many times.

I went alone and was very scared too (more because I had to return to Rotterdam at night while being suuuuuper tired from running all day). I almost gave up even before the movie started because I’d get back to the hotel in Rotterdam so late, amd on my own with almost no battery on my phone, but I still pushed through because I’d regret it if I gave up because of fear. I gotta say, this was a very special experience, and I watched Poor things, which made it even more special. It’s like that book ‘feel the fear and do it anyway’, that’s also my message to you 😊

Are the movies in English?
Hi yes some of them are, but best to check. In the Netherlands, most English language movies aren't dubbed and have subtitles in Dutch.
Of course, films in Holland always are in the original language, except for children's movies.
I think she hase not seen the big theater organ on the podium because the organ is underneat the podium. The organ has to come out with a lift...

Tuschinski was built in 1919 and renovated in 1988
