They are starting to pull the remaining Orions. I'm not sure how much longer they will have to go? If you want three, you better contact Metro before they send them to scrap. There is a page for buying surplus materials on the WMATA website.

Man, I miss seeing those in Northern Virginia. Before the time of this video, I never knew that they were not going to be in Northern Virginia as of 2015, but I got videos and pics of the we buses in Northern Virginia just in case.

robbieraeful Are they running any Metrobus Orion V buses in NoVA? I thought Four Mile Run had some.
+2004OrionVIICNG And some of the XN40 will be at Four Mile Run soon. Some of these XN40 will be on the same routes some of these buses were (e.g. 28A)
We used to have these buses in New York.
Not all of them are retired ... Most are but still a few left out there
the people were complaining about the buses make to much noise and its taking up space but its still there till this day
