I mean imo doing something like slamming your disposable desk is a decent way to release frustration quickly. That slam was after an almost insurmountable ace clutch which he mildly threw in a pro match. He then needs to immediately regain focus and play the next round and so doing something like slamming a desk to let out the building tension can be a decent quick way to regain focus.
One way i’ve learnt to deal with tilt is treating faceit like practice/training for the day you will be on the big stage. It’s very grandiose but you have to just imagine urself as one day competing for something worth more than elo, so this is just a single step toward u becoming the best you can be.
When I started playing fighting games, I struggle a lot with tilt. I tried to force be incredibly zen. I would meditate before matches and such. Those methods never really worked for me. Maybe I'm an emotional player. One day, I watched a Strive top player get blown up by goofy nonsense. They complained about it, but after a few seconds, they laughed, and continued playing. This opened my mind to the possibily of being hyper, but also not tilting. After that day, I laugh after every stupid interaction. Making every annoyance into a joke allows me to reframe situstions in a softer light.
Seeing everyone being so interested in learning more about mental performance, tilt management, and working on their own mental health is really great to see. You can use CS as a way to learn and train managing and processing your emotions, and apply those same skills to dealing with life outside the game. Great video as always!
The one thing that helped me against tilting the most was fixing my life outside of gaming. If your days are genrally good and you are in a decent mood, then a bad game will affect you less.
I've found that some days I'm just not playing well or as focused. It's those days that I step away from the computer and try to find something relaxing instead of trying to power through and "lock in." Seems to help me a lot as someone who took the game way too seriously at one point. At the end of the day "Its just a game why do you have to be mad?"
I force a smile during buy round "smiling can increase levels of dopamine and serotonin" Even if it's fake smile, it still works. It's funny because I think it's ridiculous and have a little giggle to myself. Reinforcing positive emotions. Also, Chess players look away from their game and focus on something else in the room. Another baseline reset.
Love it. May the CS Gods bless you with +500 elo for the quality content. I highly recommend keeping a disconnect trink for the buy periods or post death when the tilt is too much. I use this for life in general. Just something that makes you smile when you look at it or touch it. I have a poker card shaped fidget toy my best friend gave me. I click it and spin it a few times, recall a few memories, and get back in the game pretty zen. In-between games, work on something problem solving oriented that you enjoy, literally anything that keeps your problem solving brain working while taking your mind off the self doubt/spiraling.
Another great video, thanks mate! Learning how to manage tilt is one thing, learning how to deal with team mates tilting is another. But as you've said before. Dont let anyone elses bullshit get in the way of your improvement or fun of the game. Keep making content, youre awesome
I feel your video quality is very good compared to your views and subscriber count, u definetly deserve more views. Keep it up! And im sorry i cant join your membership program, if i could i would
I have gotten to the point that I very rarely tilt while solo Qing, but when I’m playing with friends and they get tilted and start blaming teammates it makes me tilted 😂
The only reason I get tilted now is when I miss something I know I can hit. But like you said, I think of how I can do better, remember it, then next time it happens again I remember what happened and play from there. Usually it works in my favor
I always try to focus on myself and never blame anything in the moment, if u got cs2d laugh about it, teamflahed idc, triple naded banana laugh, then just focus and play your game, you can watch the demo for your mistakes later
Yeah you just have to focus the tilt. You can’t just get mad, and go autopilot because you’re focused on being upset. Gotta channel that anger into focused gameplay.
2:13 if you can’t afford a coach, watch Pienix’s coaching videos that he uploads. Or find another CS coach who uploads that you like. Pienix has helped me improve so much through the videos he posts, and I’m planning on getting coached by him in the near future.
From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me. I craved the strength and certainty of steel. I aspired to the purity of the blessed machine. Your kind cling to your flesh as if it will not decay and fail you. One day the crude biomass you call a temple will wither and you will beg my kind to save you. But I am already saved. For the Machine is Immortal.
some thing needs to change, and it takes time to adjust. I was unable to hit any headshot for like this june. then on july, I planned to play non-competitive matches with only deag to hit just for the head, and played tons of dm just to find how gunfight work. This month, I improved from constantly whiffing on every 1v1 duel to a more calm and confident in gunfight. Other than this, take a break is really the best for you to refresh your brain state.
My tilt doesn't come from gameplay I dont care if people miss shots but whenever someone doesn't call so you get shot in the back or if you ask for a flash/rotate etc and people ignore it. This is at lvl 10.
It sucks but it’s just gonna happen. Unless you’ve got a 5 man team you play with, you just can’t expect teammates to call anything. I play expecting to have to play with no info, and do all the heavy lifting.
What can i do about a dang hard lose streak i played 34 matches in the past days and lost 33 of these i always get clapped like i am a bot or smth when i watch the replay i dont see that i did anything to wrong just my enemys swinging me like crazy with incredible aim : I normaly dont tilt while playing but rn i am about to uninstall just because i am tired of losing everything and knowing exactly that i cant do shit against it I was on 1917 Elo now i am on 1534 Elo i do 2 hours of aim training a day
I will give my opinion even though it's gonna be blanket advice without knowing your rank or circumstances. First of all, if you're getting purely outaimed then I would suggest you put more hours into deathmatch or aim practice. There's just no better way to be sharp than by playing the game consistently like that. I just don't believe there's anyone that can't benefit from putting in the hours in deathmatch. Secondly, you have to consider are you engaging in too many fair aim duels? Some times you did nothing wrong per say but you could've done something better. Learning how to use utility and teamwork to consistently have an advantage and never fighting a fair duel (Obv not NEVER but as little as possible) goes a long way. And last but not least! Find yourself as many people to queue with as possible that can communicate well and are positive to you. I feel like this advice works for all ranks no matter where you are.
@@thesolitare i may should have it written better ;D i updated my text now i see the Point what u are saying but it cant be the aim alone i do 2 Hours of aim training daily i was on 1917 Elo faceit before now i am on 1534 :D its like i know where my enemy is andd i slowly peek him and right in that sec he does a 180 flick and hs me out of the game other games look like a fair aim duel and if i see the replay i am 100% on him but the shot just went through his body without hitting him and sometimes the shots fly away to the left or right even when i sit still in other cases i think saomething is covered by mates because they sit there and the enemys casually come there without my teammate notice that they crossed him past 30-40 matches where crazy and in some points i understand what i did wrong in some points i dont even understand what even happened after rewatching it several times and so on
@clashify1782 That's very valid. Ever since Cs2 has come out, a lot of weird things have been happening with hit reg, so I get that. As they said in the video, it helps a lot to have someone else watch your replays! (Ideally a coach but can be a friend of the same rank or higher) They can bring a new perspective to you or at the very least tell you how they'd approach these same scenarios that might help! Sometimes, the monotony of thought can be your biggest enemy.
Tbh there are so many ways to be impactful and useful on your team without having good aim. I know so many smokes and setups so when I am playing bad I can setup the guy who is having a good day. When i'm on my C game I also play entry and let the best teammate in that game trade me.
Very simple solution - stop playing FPS games and especially ones with young playerbase. The tilt is higher, when you realize you've lost to a possibly 8 year old.
500 cigarettes for breakfast and double decker zyns
Tell me you r american without telling me u r american. Zyn is superior lol.
You should have created this video for niko before he break his desk 😂

Overcoming tilt is a skill worth to learn in general, not just for gaming. Great insight in your ways to do it!
thank you for this video, i've also been a life time tilter and needed this to know im doing the right kind of things. Keep up the good work man

Niko breaking the desk but still winning BLAST shows that tilt can become fuel for victory

i need to download this video and play it in the backround 24/7
Underrated video
Oh noo, not the Aimlabs Gridshot
The one good thing that came from league of legends was me tilting less
Pro Tipp: Just don’t lose.
Do you have any suggestions about being stuck in a rank after so many years? Even though you improve alot
Than your not improving lol
Could be your friends you play with are holding you back. If you really are improving your rank and elo would be increasing.

0:09 what is that?? 🤔
Muting my entire team in cs and league 😂
You just need to play some dm and decide if you are good today to play or you better train some time and skip today's matchmaking

I tink Team “Suka”, Team Chipsha” ect. should better unplug their mics when they tilted instead of put in and out earphone like you 😃

Ah yes, don't solve the actual problem
Uninstall the game
I have a better way. Just do some MEDITATION.
Best way to not get tilted is to hop off and smoke a blunt
