To me this is not foxtrot, because they have changed the timing and the music.
This is not smooth and light, but elephant-stumbling.

The timing of the music is 4/4 and it is a foxtrot music. You can only say that it does not sound like the classical foxtrot music and you can be sure that there will be more foxtrot music like this one in the future! The tempo of this tune is 22.5 bpm which means it is a very slow foxtrot music compared to our usual 29 to 30 bpm foxtrot music for dancing. It is not very smooth and light because the music is too slow. Mirko was already handling it very well as they were not partners! If you think that with this slow tempo, foxtrot cannot be danced well then take a watch of this clip: th-cam.com/video/r2BEabWFZBE/w-d-xo.html The tempo of the music in this clip is 21bpm just 1.5bpm slower. And just see how perfect and fluid the foxtrot was danced in about 1 minute. The lady dancer in the clip was also Loraine, two times Professional World Ballroom Dance Champion.

@@dixonau1793 Mirko is dancing with his weight far back and he is not dancing foxtrot timing slow-quick-quick, but slow-quick-slow, which is heavy and stumbling.
This tempo has come because of criticism that they extended the feather step into two bars.
The new "solution" is not good.
TEMPO is not an argument. Arunas and Katusha loved very, very slow tempo in shows. They danced foxtrot timing in slow tempo.

@@helgechristophersen7665 this is a matter of dance level! You are mumbling with a very basic knowledge of foxtrot to criticize the world champions! You are not up to the level where you can use your move to play with the music!

Maybe he ought to walk the talk...or show us his slow quick quick foxtrot
