I especially like the long sleeved onesie and or sleeper with “hand covers/mittens” for cuddling because I can hold the tiny hand and know it’s protected. Your babies are beautiful! ❤. Hope to someday have one of my own, either vinyl or silicone.
I learned the hard way about the dye transfer issue. If an outfit has dark cuffs around the wrist or ankles, I use mitts and socks so it’s not touching the doll. Washing first is a must! The large doggy story sounds like my puppers 🐶 he’s never harmed a baby though. Great topic 🤗
I think it all depends on the dog, my last dog was a big boy and was very gentle but my new girl Mandy is still a big puppy and she is not to be trusted! I learned that the hard way last week!!!!! Lol 😂

But yeah, I too have seen them, not pretending it is a real baby. I have 1 babygirl from Ali Express and I am very carefull with that one. My husband still not into dolls😵💫 I will be patient. I try to do as much give aways as I can follow and maybe one day I am lucky. Then it is a gift and not a buy😊😊 I hope your days at the doll show will be a very nice experience. This is more of a personal quirk than a pet peeve, but I generally don't like mixed-limb babies (like babies who have the head of one sculpt and the limbs of another). It just looks off to me, especially if it's a kit that I'm very familiar with. Like I have a Levi, so it's always weird seeing people put Levi limbs on a baby with a different sculpt's head. Of course I understand why they do it, because Levi's limbs (especially his legs!) are some of the best and most newborn-looking sculpted limbs out of all reborns. But it still throws me off and never looks right to me 😅 Not a criticism of anyone's doll, just a weird way that my brain works lol
It does throw me off too! I did however see a Jupiter sculpt at the doll show and the artist put standing legs on her, and she made a really cute standing toddler!!!! 💗🥰💗

I just wrote a whole sermon on here and deleted it 😂 But really, would it take that much more time to care for our babies (and all our belongings) with respect and maybe some gentleness? I try very hard not to judge people but some things are just common sense. I watch a particular TH-camr because they have really cool vintage stuff and I love seeing that. But the other side of it…it just puts a knot it my stomach to watch and I end up putting the video on X’s 2. Even if I stopped watching altogether their videos and shorts are all over and I still see babies flying through the air and being roughhoused with. I know I come off judgy sounding but if you factor in the common sense side of it, it’s actually just being responsible, IMHO. Let’s just leave it at that I am dumbfounded as to the WHY of it all because it’s not funny or cute 🤷🏻♀️
I think some ppl don’t realize how lucky they are to have the privilege of such things and how some could never afford it. I think they take it for granted and don’t seem to care as much. I spent the first half of my life not able to afford really nice things and now that I can, I feel appreciative of that. 💗
