Can this be use for hifi music listening? Ill be honest, im tired of hifi speakers and gears. Pairing speakers and amps and equipement, always becomes never ending money pit. Maybe a studio monitor more neutral, lets say my dac or source is slightly warm, it will give me that, or my source device slightly bright, thats what i get. Rather than mixing pre ampx power amps, and speakers of different chacerter that becomes a money pit and a messed of mix charecter. Is this feasable?
I will try these krk 5 with a SMSL SU-1 dac. 309 euros (krk 5) + 76 euros (SMSL SU-1). I just want to improve the sound of the PC to listen to music, let's see how it goes...

I had the gen 4 for a few days & sent it back and got the Adam T5V and am much happier with the sound
How much better are these than the Gen 4?
I have the rocket 5s gen 4 and honestly they sound good for writing and producing on but I’m going to definitely buy some Yamahas to mix/master on
How's the humming - does it still hum at low volume levels?

Yes, but you can turn it off.
