Sir Buddy, i don't encourage using vegetables leftovers or pinagtabasan from market. As per my experience, nagkakasakit din ang manok, because of the pesticides sa vegetables. My native chicken farm was once featured in Ating Alamin of Ka Gerry Geronimo. Then after sa Ating Alamin, na invite din kami as guess speaker sa DZMM TELERADYO, about raising native chicken. That was 7 years ago. Then, evey time TESDA-AANI has exhibit in QC circle, we are always invited to display our native chickens.
I do think the part where they ferment the vegetables leftovers is the key for pesticides and other possible harmful materials to decrease or completely eradicated.

Sir, i am confused about sa sinabi ni Dean (at around 15:00) na kapag nag immunize ang mga farms ng game fowls, tatamaan daw ang mga hindi naimmunized. I find contrary to the very purpose of immunization. Contrary din ito sa sinabi ni Sec. Manny Piñol.
Opinion ko po, siguro wag na kumuha ng vegetable trims sa merkado dahil sa pesticide at gamot na naapply sa halaman or sa gulay na pwede ikasira ng manok.
