Dabble is such a wonderful program. I've used it a lot in my writing. If you would like your note cards on the right hand side to be full size to where you don't have to click on them to be able to read everything, you can expand the right sidebar out if you are on a full screen monitor (doesn't work on a laptop...or at least it doesn't work on my Chromebook). It makes the document in the middle slightly smaller, but to me it was always still perfect size to write on. You may already know this, but just in case I wanted to pass it along! When I first started using it, having to click the cards annoyed me and when I figured out I could expand it I was ecstatic!

Yessss! I only just figured that part out. It’s so amazing to have this and helps organize so much more. I’m definitely like you and need those notes showing up when I write. Thank you!!!

I wondered about chromebook, because that's what I use. So happy that it's mostly compatible.

I just signed up for the free trial. 😊. I'm looking forward to playing with it. I think from what you showed it may be a keeper 👍. I especially like it for mysteries, which I write ✍️ 🕵️‍♀️

Nice! I think you’ll really like it for mystery. Especially if you’re a plotter in any form at all. Let me know how you like it when you have a chance to play around!

@@ANSageWrites I absolutely will. I am an in betweener, but I'm such a new writer that I guess I'll find out what I really am as I go. But I do know for a mystery I would like to have something to glance at the tells me when I did put the red herring in, or if I did at all. lol.
I will definitely report back and I did tell them in the email I got from them that I heard about it from your channel. I don't know if you'll get any credit for that or any acknowledgment, but I put it out there. 😉🥰

I love Dabble and have used it since it came out! Your tutorial was literally one of the best I’ve seen, so thank you! Also, is there a link for the 21 beats you use? Thank you :)

That’s amazing! I’m glad you thought it was thorough and helpful. It is really a fantastic tool. I don’t have a template for the beats because they are from Plottr. When I migrated over from then program I brought them in with me. But it’s the 4 act cozy mystery template and there’s a few different ones floating around online. Here is one from Novlr I found recently: www.novlr.org/the-reading-room/how-to-write-a-four-act-cozy-mystery-with-downloadable-template

@@ANSageWrites Thank you so much! I know you mentioned STC, I use that, too, love it. I’ll check out the link above, thank you for including that! Keep up the fantastic videos, so helpful!

do you have a walk-through of where you go over your beats for a cozy mystery? How do you have 21 whereas Blake Snyder has fifteen...?🤔 would be interested to see a more in depth video on this if you have one or want to make one...?

I can definitely do a more in depth video. I don’t use Save the Cat for cozies and instead use the beat breakdown from Plottr that I imported into Dabble.
