Instead, we are forced out of sight, unable to take any action of our own. All while the male lizard is free to practice his new rhythms. An entire section of this sad, somber melody, forcefully stripped away from us. Why wasn't the female lizard allowed to practice these new rhythms? Better yet, the fact that they are "his" new rhythms, implies that the female lizard had no part in the creation of these rhythms. What if the female lizard wanted to help come up with a fun new rhythm for the player to use? She could have come up with something incredible. But sadly we may never know, as she is forced to comply to the rhythms set by the male lizard. This truly reflects the society that we live in. Those who don't have power are not given the same treatment as others. And those underneath are forced into a life of oppression, ostracization and agony.
