Oh no! Poor Bear! I bc want to just reach right thru the glass and give him a big “ Bear” hug. Bless him! He must have been the most miserable doggy. Keep on “keeping on” dear Bear. So glad for your finish. The framing is so very nice. And you do things so well. Congratulations on your finish. Congrats Gary on your finish. Bear says thank you for the sweet hug. He is happy to be feeling so much better. Right now, he's sleeping peacefully at my feet, but he'll be awake soon and plotting how to bamboozle his way into a good snack. :)

Thanks, Cindy. They weren't totally sure what made him sick, so they put him on three different antibiotics and special food - just in case he had pancreatitis. We're so glad he's feeling better!

Thank you for your video. Yes, you had a very sick dog. I have had that fever and it was after tumor surgery and they were getting ice to pack my body but I am wired backwards, I needed heat and they said it would kill me and my mom was there so she said to do what I asked so I got heated blankets for about an hour and when my system kicked over the fever was gone and that was another shock to the doctors. Life with me is so weird for doctors they just have to trust me at times. Thank you for sharing.
Oh my goodness! That's so strange that putting heat on a fever helps bring it down for you. I'm glad you found a doctor who was willing to listen to you and take a chance. How scary.
I tend to have subnormal temperatures rather than fever when my body is taxed. I had a surgery a few years ago, and they were watching me closely because my temperature kept dropping lower than they were comfortable with. Bodies are so weird!
Great video. Awesome finishes. I can’t wait to see the full coverage. And Louie Armstrong. I can remember being a teenager and loved listening to him. Funny thing, I married an Armstrong from West Virginia and we live in Idaho. I’m so glad Bear is doing good. 😊 There is nothing like worrying about our furry family. 106 wow. That does sound high. Well hello Sophie! Nice to hear from you today. I'm glad to hear that Bear is on the mend, you have had such a stressful time. Congratulations on your finish Gary - it looks great. Your framing is fabulous Amy, you are so talented. I'm sure I've said it before, but I'm so impressed by your rotation, and how you stick with it. In fact, I'm kind of imitating you, in doing a weeks rotation of various pieces, and have made it through a whole month so far 😅. Looking forward to you next installment xx

You are too kind about my framing. There are definitely some flaws up close, but I'm getting better over time at getting my lines pretty straight. There are a few things I want to go back and straighten up on older framing finishes. :)
I'm glad you're trying out a rotation. I know it's not for everyone, but it is definitely a good way to make progress and get enough variety to keep the WIPs interesting. I'll be interested to see if you stick with that approach or decide it's not for you.
Haven't forgotten I promised to send you a list of ideas for a possible SAL. We had an unexpected plumbing crisis to deal with over the weekend that completely upended my plans on seeral things.
@globetrottingstitcher no hurry Amy. Sals can wait until crises are dealt with! We had a summer storm that flooded the young adults bedrooms over the weekend, so I feel your pain! 😅

The Rose Trellis is really coming along. It doesn’t matter how long it takes. My queen sized cathedral window took 15, with a long time when I didn’t do anything.

Hi Connie! They never determined precisely what was wrong. The doctor thought it was some kind of bacterial infections, so she put him on a targeted antibiotic based on his bloodwork and a broad spectrum antibiotic. She thought he might have had pancreatitis as well, so he had to eat a bland diet for several days.
I don't think I've ever seen a photo of your cathedral window. That sounds amazing (and like a true feat of perseverance)!
Thank you Amy and Gary. I am so sorry Bear has been poorly and I hope he continues to improve. It is worrying when they are so poorly. Please give him a hug from me ,and since Sophie is being adorable one for her as well. Congratulations both of you on your respective finishes. That back stitch really made a difference Gary. I think Louis works well doing the pages that way ,it means you can see the trumpet emerging. Although it is 1 colour I bet the counting takes some time. Amy so impressed with the new start.😂 each stitch is one less to do. Gary you did not help the uninitiated this week. After Superman I am stumped. Right back to my homework. See you both soon.

Superman's buddies were the Martian Manhunter (J'onn J'onzz) and Agent Mulder from the X Files. Gary thought it would be funny to have an alien hunter on the table with two alien superheroes flanking him. :)

I haven't settled it yet, but I should think about it. Such a fun way to personalize!
