everybody now knows that russian planes and weapons are rubbish now. The planes look great and are great at airshows, doing stupid maneuvers that are not relevant in modern warfare, but that's it. Expectation versus reality.

SU-34 is really a unique plane, looks like a fighter but it's twice as big and incredibly enough it can perform BOTH ROLES of air superiority and heavy bombing 😳
So basically a squad of these, say 8-10, can "muscle their way" in hostile territory, bomb the shit out of some targets and even GTFO with defenses being very worried not to encounter them.
Russia makes some of the most beautiful and capable aircraft in the world!

Love from Vietnam and America. As an engineer, I always wonder how Russian engineers could do such beauty and deadly weapons, also very practical and reliable. In the past: Mig-21, Sam rocket, AK,...., those weapon were proved everything as said.
My hometown located next to Bien Hoa military air base in Vietnam, what a pleasure to watch Su-27 and Su-30 practices dogfight everyday(a bit noisy but i get use to it). Now, as an engineer in America, i can tell you one tip, whatever stuff that Vietnamese often buy and use the most, it must be the best, because Vietnam is not rich and they always try to use the most out of their gear. I also got sick and tired of "tactical" term of American, just show off and bullying other small guy(at least they got lesson from Vietnam). Thank you Russia and respect for their engineers.
Love it when a bully complains about being bullied. Who was invading South Vietnam? Who was more corrupt, North or South Vietnam? Both, in their own ways. The lesson we learned was not to use the military for internal political problems. Wish we remembered that one, because while we could do Genghis Khan 1,000,000 times over, our world does not need or want that.
@@thesweatleaf well, just think about why those solider get in to the war for what, in the South they were fight for good money, i know many people did not want to join military, the same as people in the north, but that is the fact, what Made them went to the war and die for, my grandpa was an intelligent officer for the north, but nothing prove his real identify after the war, he lost everything in 1989, from a professor and a chairman of education department, he became a farmer when he turn 55,but he alway tell me that he never regret and still proud of his nation, because he fought for it, not the government, he is a real nationalism.
Nowadays, what people in Vietnam thinking? War is not the solution, but can not get away from it. So better to be prepare , but alway understand and appreciate the true value of peace and freedom. It took me years to learn it, came to America then had opportunities to meet and talk with many Vietnam veteran, they taught me a lot of thing which cost them their whole live to learn. So i know what i'm talking and confident about it. A person or a men like me should know where his soul belong to, patriotism and nationalism should be recognize and appreciate.

@@deltacharlieromeo8252 Well, SU-34 was designed to replace SU-24 frontline bomber. And at the beginning it was determined as frontline bomber. But few years ago they decided to move it to another category. I can't imagine the purpose of it. Of course SU-34 has much more fighting ability then SU-24 and it can do the job without fighter escort, but still it is a bomber.

I saw another video of a Su34 recently. Well.. there wasn't much of a Su34 in it.. part of a wing, a single Buryat pilot's boot... but it seemed to have plowed a nice pond size crator into a farmer's field. No doubt to sow some sunflower in time for Spring.

@@theworldischanging968 Well they are fired in pairs of 2, but I think Russian aircraft lowest count is 6 in one firing. Looked liked only one impact - not a pair or 6 (which normally is like 2 second delay of each pair). But sure - it must have been a unguided rocket where the ceiling (fog/clouds) appears to be about 1000ft and the unguided rocket must of been magic for the pilot to even see his target. Do I even need to go further and talk about the other 5 factors which proves it was faked like Russia is known for?

The weapon systems is out of date....the armaments that it’s limited to sucks. For the SU-34 to be successful in a bombing mission, the Fighter needs to be specifically set up for a bombing run that it already knows it’s more capable of than the adversary.
Gotta say those things do look pretty awesome... smoldering in Ukrainian fields.

Based on how vulnerable the Su-34’s turned out to be over Ukraine, this video didn’t age well. Must say though, the Su-34 is a beautiful jet!
No they are idiots and don't use it properly...so it is not the fighter jet's fault, man this is normal for all jets, mind what you say , research and find the reasons for downing these jets. Like the titanic and yamato , people claimed they can not be sunk but they were, EVERY JET CAN BE SHOT DOWN EVEN YOUR F 22 AND F 35.
That cockpit looks like it's a really nice place to be. They have a bathroom and a mini kitchen for the pilots, for God's sake. They're eating pashtyet at 40,000 feet.
