I started making this almost 2 years ago and finally finished it woohooo!
Context:
Part I: Astrid is the daughter of two very powerful witches. Their home is a testament to their legacy and their future place in the world, Astrid needs to be strong enough to protect her family and their name from ruin. She trains relentlessly, pushing herself to her limits but she is constantly reminded that she is not good enough. She keeps her feelings hidden from the surface, but on the inside she is near her breaking point. She doesn't know how much longer she can keep up her façade.
Part ||: Her training continues at a school for young witches. Being the only Blood Witch to be homeschooled weighs heavily on her, she only wants to fit in. But Emrys, a fellow Blood Witch, talks of ways to gain more power, how Blood Witches are soon to rise above all other magics. Astrid is skeptical, not trusting in Emrys but also not wanting to be an outcast.
Part III: In all the chaos, the only person to calm her racing mind is Elletta, a water witch. She feels at peace with her, and doesn't feel like she needs to prove herself to her. But to go after Elletta would mean turning her back on all her parents had built as well as pushing herself away from Blood Witches. What choice does she have?
