- George Kambosos Jr talks about his past 12 months from winning the belts off Teofimo Lopez then losing them to Devin Haney. He also talks about his plans on getting another world title and fights with the likes of Vasiliy Lomachenko, Gervonta Davis, Ryan Garcia and Shakur Stevenson.

George went out and called out the best boxers in his division (including Lomachenko) when he was on top. Lightweight is arguably the most competitive division right now. Keep up the great work! You're a true champion! 🥊💯🇦🇺
He was just looking for a pay day he knows he isnt capable of beating any of the top guys at that division
Kambosos is a great fighter, I think he should keep going with those new ideas he had in the second fight vs haney which included more movement but also switching especially. Add more variety of punches and work on pressuring so if that time comes that you have to fight a pure boxer again then you are more prepared.

I have maintained respect for his approach in the ring and gym. Some of the public antics before the first fight were the only thing I had a disagreement with.

I ain't going to lie, George fought in a time where the lightweight division is filled with incredible young and tough talents. Honestly Devin is one of the most clean cut and techician fighters i've seen in recent years, The best jab, in my opinion, pfp and crazy calmness and IQ for a boxer. People would say I'm biased and maybe I am but I seriously think style makes fights and Devin's style is the worse for george, George doesn't have the head movement and footwork to reach Devin so there was a high chance he would of lost. George Vs Loma would of been super interesting, would be straight fireworks. You guys hate too much when we all know that we will never even reach where George is in boxing, maybe in different categories in our life, but boxing in general is a hard sport. Props to George. Can't wait to see next fights.

Kambosos did not have the WBC world title and the people wanted to see the undisputed fight, and for Devin Haney to get his shot which he rightfully deserved Lomachenko blatantly ducked Haney so did Lopez for that matter, George Kambosos saw the Devin Haney style wasn’t the best for him and he attempted to duck him and Devon Haney called his bluff because the deal the Devin Haney had to sign to get the fight was egregious

Feel sorry for George. He's so affected that he tried too hard to be the 'people's champion' by immediately fighting 'the best', after winning the belts. He should have enjoyed the spoils a bit longer with lesser opponents first up. He really craved the fans' love by selecting Haney, but fell flat. Now no belt and no fans. And no more talk of the Spartan spirit...thank goodness
No matter how long he would have waited kambosos just isnt skilled enough for the top guys at that division and he never will be he a basic fighter at best who had one fluke win and thought he was a champ

Doesn't sidestep anyone, and fights the best, even if he lost two straight to Haney, he shows his metal and determination. Statements like he believes in his own hype, what boxer doesn't? And most of the great boxers have losses. Ali, Tyson, Pacquiao all had their losses.

George needs quality sparring partners in order to return in his form like vs Teo .. Haney sparred with crawford and other top boxers( without even mention his PEDS abuse to become a weight bully in 135 div) while kambosos was sparring with amateur australians which showed us a degenerated version of kambosos in the second fight. This allowed haney to be more comfortable with his combinations compared to a much more prepared physically-explosive kambosos in the first fight that lacked the right strategy but was more explosive and superior in combinations compared to haney close- middle range.

@@jaydinero2503 He didnt beat him the first fight stop the CAP. Haney had thrown 25 more jabs and 55 more hugs than kambosos but he lost in every other department including a clean knockdown in R9.. And these are not excuses THOSES ARE FACTS.. Debbie is a PEDS abusive b1tch so he can become the next gaeweather.. Finally, the fact that you feel like he will lose to teo in a rematch it means that my statement is 100% correct! Kambosos sparred with only amateur australians and looked worst.. pure logic in the boxing world.
