Siliguri-Sevok route will have much significance after this project. Ashwini Yadav even said in an interview that he wishes to see Vandebharat run all the way to Rangpo
@biswadeepkar speed wala aspect track aur signalling system se related hai, electrification ka concept ye hai ki hamara country more than 85% of crude oil import karta hai, diesel mei train chalane se kharcha bohot jada ata hai, ak EMD locomotive 1 hour mei 140 litres of diesel consume kar jata hai, jabki electric traction mei train ko chalane se Railway ka kharcha kum ata hai! Ab tum economics pardhoge tab samjhoge warna aisi he baate karoge!!
@biswadeepkar maine apne comment mei deepor bill ka mention kia tha - jo 5kms ka corridor hai azara station aur kamakhya Jn ko connect karta hai, kyuki voh strech electric nahi hoparaha hai esliye eis route se jane wale sare train from/to kamakhya diesel mei chalai jarahi hai aur electric loco NCB mei he attach hota hai jo 340Kms dur hai....! Toh obviously loss toh ho he raha hai is context mei!!
Siliguri-Alipurduar jn section fully electrification approxly complete That means Diesel beast will be extinct with passenger trains within some months and instead of them in this section wap 7 and wap 4 wag 9 will rule 😔💔😪
