Great review. I personally do extended rear facing with the joie 360 swivel. Kids are 4x likelier to survive a serious car crash whilst rear facing xxx
Thanks for the information Charlotte. I am looking into it more, because Iw ill hold my hands up and say I don't know where to start. I wonder if Britax have a seat that would be suitable? xx
We're planning on getting an extended rear facing car seat when my 18 month old outgrows her maxi Cosi infant carrier which she still just fits in length and weight wise. Also a Britax but a Two Way Elite. Can rf all the way up to 25kg so even more flexibility to keep rear facing longer than this model would allow forward. After doing all my research I won't be putting my little one forward facing until I absolutely have to. Definitely one to look into for extended rear facing. Can be purchased from the In Car Safety Centre in the UK.
I might have a look at the Two Way Elite then Kathryn! Thank you! I need to get my knowledge up to speed with extended rear-facing as while the legislation hasn't changed, I know other advice has. And I want to do the best thing! xx
Don't we all! It's so mind boggling and definitely not an enviable task. It took me absolutely ages and a lot of very knowledgeable helpful parents on various Facebook groups that helped me out with loads of info on rear facing. The legislation is being particularly slow catching up as far as I know!
Hi charlotte looks like a lovely comfortable car seat. I think you covered everything in great detail👍. Daisy looks so cute sitting in there and is smiling so must be good xx you look lovely by the way loving the makeup and lip colour 💄xx
Thank you so much Gurjeet! I tried so hard with this one! And bless you - I tried to look nice even though I was a bit under the weather when I filmed! xx
Fab review so thorough. This looks ace we are about to buy Alberts next car seat as he has broad shoulders! So will defo look at this one. Sebastian has a britax maxi way 2 and is still rear facing at 3.5 with no intention of turning him. He does go forward facing in hubbies car on small short journeys but long ones or my car he is rear facing. Highly recommend Britax. Fab review Charlotte:) Daisy is super cute xx
Thank you lovely. How are you? We are looking into rear-facing too. I have to be honest and say that I don't know enough about it. But I would definitely look at Britax's options because this by far the most sturdy and practical seat we have used. xx
Charlotte Louise Taylor We are ok getting by! This link might help. It's only a small crash test but worth a look. We only rear face in my car with him but not in Chris's car as that just happens to be a forward facing maxi cosi we had spare and I have no issues or worries with him forward in that. He isnt in it often. But this video was what really cemented my decision to rear face on long journeys or motorways. Either way this one looks super safe and Britax really are a fantastic brand. Daisy is so so so blooming cute 😍😍😍 her little smile melts my heart! th-cam.com/video/sssIsceKd6U/w-d-xo.html
Great seat, worked with brtiax a few times. But definitely wouldn't turn my child forward facing at anything less than 2.5years. Hopefully you can do the same with Day :) X
Oh thanks Abi! Do you know if Britax have an extended rear-facing seat? We get our new car in Dec/Jan and I'd like to get all three kids sorted with their car seats as safely as possible! xx
Charlotte Louise Taylor rear facing is 500% safer. My little girl is 17 months and we are keeping her rear facing for as long as possible. We have the joie stages seat and it's fab. Definitely look into the rear facing facts etc once I knew them I knew my mind was made up and we'd be rear facing for as long as possible xx
The more you look into rear facing the crazier it seems that a 9 month could forward face. I think it's now 18months, but I could be wrong. The seat looks so cosy though :)
Fab review xx Both of mine went forward facing 10monte ish when they grew out of maxi cosi newborn. They always hated the car but better facing forward and now Lexi won’t scream all the time!!! Xxx
Thank you Carly! We have started to find that Daisy tries to get out of her straps when rear-facing but I never know what is best to do! She gets bored I think, but I always worry! xx

Lovely seat. Would be even better if it could rear face 👌🏻
I am looking into rear-facing more! I don't know enough about it yet! If you have any advice I would love to hear it, lovely. xx
