Hi there. I just discovered this series because I am going to Iceland in February. It is great information. Regarding the tall mountain, your settings stated are 16 mm 162 seconds. I just wanted to make sure that indeed is the exposure you did because it seems really long. Thank you.
Just happened on this video. Wow. A lot has changed in the past 7 years. And I don't mean the hair. You're a lot more at ease in front of the camera now and having fun.
Heading to Iceland in 5 days. Watching your episodes has been so helpful. I enjoy your direct approach to the landscape and photography. I recommend your videos to anyone traveling to Iceland. Thanks.
Awesome photos Peter.Your video gives so many valuable tips not only about composition but also direction to sites and health and safety issues. What foot wear do you wear to keep you safe when going to Grunderfoss?
Absolutely love all your videos, Mads... Binge watching them again as I'm missing Iceland! Went last year and watched them beforehand and was really pleased with my shots as a result!
I absolutely love your photography! Breathtaking! Great to see that your videos on youtube are so informative not just about the iconic shots everyone wants but the knowledge you share of what surrounds and how to get around these places is great! Look forward to more of your videos and learning more about photography from you....I am new to photography and thanks to a couple of you on youtube I was instantly hooked on long exposure and neutral density filters thanks to your stunning photos and teachings....hopefully one day can set my tripod in Iceland :) Thank you!! :)
Leaving for Iceland tomorrow.....really...packing from Landamannalagar to Skogar with camera gear.....cannot wait to try to take images like this. Thank you for inspiration.
Good luck Steve! I hope you're ready and know your camera. Remember most of my pictures are heavily processed, you can't get them like this straight out of camera ;)
Your way to explain your Journeys is so exciting! I like that you show the Attitude from the M Mode of your Camera. Your Pictures are inspiring and also absolutely phenomanel👏 the sound of the Vlogs is suitable to your amazing Location. Congrats👌
Thanks for this video, I'm heading out there to shoot at sunset . A nice gentleman told me to watch your videos for photography locations tips in Iceland. Great job, thank you.
Hello Mads! I've been watching a lot different Vlogs about Iceland, but honestly? Yours is outstanding. Amazing Images and stunning Video Stuff. Wonderful... Thanks for that... Greetings from Germany, Tobias
I just discovered your channel, incredible content and your portfolio is stunning! I am heading to Iceland in May and this is fantastic motivation! Thanks for sharing!
Great video! I was visiting kirkjufellsfoss this spring. Cant wait to get back to iceland. I really like that you included more of the nearby area in this vid. Such a cool place
Absolutely breathtaking Mads! I've been watching your videos on and off a day. I'm headed to Iceland this October and this video has me ecstatic to go. Once again amazing work.
Hello Mads I have downloaded the map and it is really useful I am still working on my trip on May 23-31 I am sure it will help me a lot. And I think I will need some help to understand the location better. So I will need your additional advice the more I progress. Thank you for such a video series.
Your series is the perfect mixture of travel and photographic guides to assist in planning a photography trip to Iceland. Members of my photography club and I enjoy using both traditional DSLR cameras and drones. Can you share any advice on getting all the necessary authorizations for piloting drones in Iceland?
Absolutely love your work and your videos I can’t stop watching them and you seem like a really top bloke and as I said when I messaged you via Instagram your my favourite photographer by a mile 10/10 superb if I’ve meet you I’ll buy you a beer.
I'm so hooked on your videos! I visited Iceland during March-April time-frame and man, I wish I've seen your videos before I went there. I'm planning on going back next year. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of drone did you use to take the videos? Thanks and goodluck with all the travels!
Mads Peter Iversen I was just here browsing on youtube and typed in "Dynjandi Iceland" scrolled down and saw one of your videos. I've been binged watching all your videos for almost an hour now. 😂 checking all the pics you took and even gave you a follow on Instagram. Man, I love your work! I'm definitely gonna visit Iceland again and follow all your advice on how to take good photos. I kinda like the pictures I took but yours are amazing. And I'm definitely gonna use your tips and all that! Probably buy myself a drone too! 😁
That's very nice to hear! Happy my thumbnails work ;) I hope my videos will help you! Remember to watch the Faroes series too, might inspire you too ;)
Mads Peter Iversen I already checked one out. 😂 but sadly, I don't have that much money to go to Faroe Islands. I even checked the amount of hours much it is to fly there. I can't afford it. 😁
Then it's not broad enough. An 18mm focal length on a D3300 is the same as 27mm. You can watch the first episode of Photographing the World with Elia Locardi - in that he explains more in depth what your options are at that location :)
Mads Peter Iversen That's what I assumed.... ;-) I think you need really time to reach all the nice locations and enjoy them. I think, i'll also travel to Iceland, within the next years. But this needs also much preparation upfront, with flight, rental car, hotel reservations.... we will see...

Hey Mads, is that Kerlingarfoss on the photo at time 6:41?
Thanks!
Are you able to fry a drone at most of these places, or do you need special permission?

Pd: i love your landscape in instagram amazing i don't have words
Thanks a lot Andres! I bet you will come by it one day! :)
What is the name of the last waterfall - the 3 stage one?
Is it possible to climb Kirkjufell?
Liked all your photos apart from the high key :)..each to their own about high key images.
That is indeed a question about taste ;)
So many people! What time of year was this Mads?
This is actually footage from this autumn. 2½ week ago (start of October).
I was there in mid may, and had the place all to myself.
Great..Want to ask why did u shoot the last waterfall picture with f3.5?
I didn't... I put the wrong exif data - it's the same exif as the previous B&W shot ;)
Allright :D Thanx for the videos!I am heading there in April and have watched them all. They are really helpful!
Mads, do you know the name of the last waterfall you mentioned in this video? Great video series!
Josaiah Pun thanks, no sadly I don't but it is fairly easy to spot and find by following the road :)
Absolutely love your work and your videos I can’t stop watching them and you seem like a really top bloke and as I said when I messaged you via Instagram your my favourite photographer by a mile 10/10 superb if I’ve meet you I’ll buy you a beer.

That's so nice to hear Nas! :D
I used my DJI Phantom III standard. I'm curious to know how you found my videos? :)

I bet if you go with the Ferry from Seydisfjord when you're in Iceland it won't cost you much :)
Hey Bro I am Your Facebook Friend , I know You are Awesome Photographer , Glad to Learn from You :)
Happy you're here and thanks :)
Do you think I'll be able to take that Kirkjufell picture with a Nikon D3300???
Choli Zaragoza that depends on the lens you have. Or if you master doing panoramas postprocessing :)
Mads Peter Iversen What if the lens has 18mm ???
Then it's not broad enough. An 18mm focal length on a D3300 is the same as 27mm. You can watch the first episode of Photographing the World with Elia Locardi - in that he explains more in depth what your options are at that location :)
really awesome! how much time did you spend on iceland, for this video series?
Most of the footage was recorded on my 2nd and 3rd trip which were 18 days and 7 days :)
Mads Peter Iversen
That's what I assumed.... ;-)
I think you need really time to reach all the nice locations and enjoy them. I think, i'll also travel to Iceland, within the next years. But this needs also much preparation upfront, with flight, rental car, hotel reservations.... we will see...
Which months have you been there ?
These video are amazing
Almost all months. In this video I have footage from October and June :)
👍
Did you or do you live in Iceland?
Nice video but your pronunciation of Kirkjufell is wrong. In Icelandic a double l sound is pronounced tl and so you actually say Kirkjufetl
I know ;)
4 dead tourist on 3 years, this mountain is dangerous!
