Your Punjabi pronounciation is pretty accurate "sohna" means beautiful "Yaar" means beloved and "Yaar" also means friend it depends on where and for whom you are using this word

Aima is a very talented singer. Definitely check out more from her. There are several of her wonderful performances in Coke Studio but my favs would be Baanware, Kaatay na katay, Aatish. Do check out her recent one called Na Cher Malangan Nu

Coke studio has been very versatile in its experimentations since its inceptions, adding rock elements to classic folk songs and Qawalis. Lots of gems from Pakistan! Sawaal kande utte, charkha nolakha, kangna, miyan ki malhar, yaar vekho, aadam, piya re (Nescafé). I think you’d enjoy all of these they’re really wonderful fusions
pakistani weddings are like a 3 day function, we have different traditions that we follow during these ceremony's. Everyone wears traditional clothes, dances are very common as well

I humbly suggest to my Indian and Pakistani friends to avoid all this useless banter and unproductive arguments in a wonderful show by a foreign pair who is open minded and willing to learn and enjoy all different kinds of Culture and Music, from around the world. We both Indians and Pakistanis share the same basic cultural heritage with a touch of individual Flavors. We both should appreciate each other and this SHOW, instead of putting down each other, in the childish attitude of fighting for the CREDIT and the superiority complex. We both should take pride in our South Asian/Subcontinent heritage (different from anyone else). When this show appreciates Indian artist, I take pride as a Pakistani and feel the credit for both of us. I just enjoyed the show on RAAG by a wonderful Indian artist, a couple of days ago. My Indian friends should do the same and I believe many of them do. I SAY SALAAM AND NAMASTE TO YOU ALL. LET US CHILL, ENJOY AND SPREAD THE LOVE. THERE IS ENOUGH HATRED ALREADY IN THE WORLD!!!

To be honest, this song is one of the less impressive songs we have in Coke Studio. Season 11 was pretty weak across the board -- apart from the first song, Shikwa/Jawab-e-Shikwa, which is a masterpiece and should be reacted to.
Earlier Coke Studio seasons have some of the best music ever and should be prioritized if you're interested in hearing unique music that is more native to Pakistan and Pakistani culture :) Because of our high standards, we have omitted Coke Studio Season 11 from our memories, just like Game of Thrones Season 8. 😂

Yeah. You can say such type of songs are mostly played in the weddings and it's really fun as we have a special dance function and we do practice the choreo for these songs beforehand. Btw there are so many British Pakistanis in London. Ask them for invitation and I'm sure they'll let you attend the wedding cause seriously so many people are invited at Pakistani weddings, and there is always a portion of people who you don't even know personally but they are just there for the food😂😂😂😂
