Is not ridiculous; I do the same for my daughter. People tend to think that doing a party at home is cheaper than doing it at a place but that’s not always the case. As a home baker myself custom cakes are a lot of time completely make from scratch and either a recipe found online or a homemade recipe and the amount of money spent on ingredients and the amount of time and detail that goes into baking and decorating a cake and cookies it’s a lot of work but the price spent on it is worth it.
