I like seeing the "over 50" gardeners who've enjoyed a lifetime of gardening. I'll always be grateful for my grandmother and mother teaching me to love gardening. It's a very comforting and inspiring activity as age creeps up on us. As Thomas Jefferson said, "I am an old man but a young gardener."

I love how Francis has hanging pots on a wooden fence. How are the pots attached?

And These Glass Houses are cute, with that plexis Glass No threat to anyone, also the curious Dog, for example. Thanks to that good advice! Simply Grand. Kath. Zwing

Crushed (medium to small) dry* eggshells help prevent slug issues.

I love this! Francis should have painted her space a dark grey as that would have made her space look bigger. Dark colours recede and make the space look bigger, whereas lighter colours make the space feel smaller.

I just buy fruit with pesticides on it from the cheapest lowest-class grocery store because I don't have a garden. Those places are owned and reserved for the rich like everything lin life.

Sceptical about the m-i-l's tongues producing oxygen at night.

Just googled and encyclopaedia britanica says 'yes'. Some cacti, bromelliads and succulents.
